Christiane's Hair Design Kotara

Made an appt for Kotara store last week. Received a text message 3 days prior confirming attendance, to which I confirmed I would be attending. Received a phone call the morning of the appt to say they had received a number of online bookings and now couldn't fit my appt in. When I asked why I had been able to make the appt last week, was told they didn't know.Definately won't be going back. Clearly no organisation or management.

I went there to colour my hair last week..I had my appointment there but waited for like half and hr till they serve other people.I wanted to colour,trim my hair and blow dry which hair dressers usually do after they colour.But the lady she came with long invoice with all the stuffs added total was $465 including shampoo and conditioner from their store.When I told them I don’t want the shampoo and conditioner cause I already have one at home!the lady said you have to buy this otherwise it’s your own risk … and I can’t claim later if my your colour fades away! She was so rude! I had to walk away after all these interactions!such disappointment!The price on the menu is different and when u take appointment its different! I think this not fair …

The girls at Kotara, Tori, Angel and Liz are amazing. I listened to their advice about colour and they did an amazing job of making my hair look natural again. Great atmosphere and a great vibe

Really great salon located in the mall. Perfect for my 6 year old who just needed a wash and cut. He was treated wonderfully and the cut was exactly what he wanted (and I asked for).

I asked for blond colour but finished up with army green. Was very disappointed and purchased from Coles and did it myself. The hairdresser was friendly.

Well this is the worse cut I have had in years.. absolutely shocking. I look like punk 80s girl . Seriously ... I now have to get itshaved off and start again

After not getting my desired colour from a different stylist, I came in a few days later to have it fixed up free of charge.Thank you so much Liz for your amazing work at fixing my colour ☺️

Would not recommend at all. Booked an appointment for formal hair. Arrived to be told can’t do that style which was very simple some curls and a small braid. The apprentice started curls which were not good. Half way through told running behind and can’t finish. As you can imagine my daughter formal hair was not done and what had been done was terrible. My daughter was devastated as you can imagine. Please do not go here for anything. Not happy at all.

first time customer happy with the price at first (haircut) but after was shown hair style wet I asked that It be blowdried I thought this was included in the price as are all other hairdressers I have been to. Hairdresser said she would quote me and I was extremely shocked that to have my hair blowdried was it going to cost me another $40.00 I decided to have it done as in my opinion and I would say many other general people would think that same that it was not styled. I wanted to see it finished even after that was done the stylist still had to cut my hair. I have been to many hairdressers before and have never been charged extra for a blow dry not happy with that. In the end it cost me $81.00 not happy far to much. I would expect that from a hairdresser may be in Top end of Newcastle or Sydney even. I will not come to any of your branches again. I was only there for not even half an hour. I feel that you should not be charging extra for blowdry especially $40.00
