Melville Subaru Service Centre

Went back to the dealer for the first time since I got my car since it was having some electrical issues. Never again! So expensive and service was so unfriendly the only bright spark here was the receptionist, she was absolutely lovely. They also tried to ask my boyfriend questions about my car instead of calling me as was requested? I guess they assumed the man would know better than the actual driver and owner of the car? Gross.

I am always greeted and served by Wally and the team so efficiently and in such a caring and professional manner. The car always looks and feels fantastic. They are thorough and communicate very clearly at every service. It is always a smooth process. This service was no different. Highly recommended.

The service staff are always welcoming and patient. They are professional and pay attention to detail.

UPDATEDI spoke with Lester, the Melville Subaru Sales Manager this morning, and he was polite, friendly and legitimately interested in helping with our complaints.We reached a resolution quickly and easily, and should have the issue resolved in the near future.For his great service and helpful, we can get this fixed" attitude

Extremely poor customer service and no respect for the vehicles they have been trusted to look after!My Outback went in for a service to replace the recalled Takata airbags and electronic parking brake. When I picked my car up from the Service Centre I noticed paint had been taken off my rear bumper and there were stress fractures consistent with damage cause by a tow ball. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt as the damage could have occurred in a car park any time during the preceding week. However, a few days later I noticed that my passenger side mirror had been badly damaged AND a poor attempt was made to repair it with glue. The glue is a dead give away that this damage was not the result of a car park prang.I approach the Service Centre the following day, and they refused to acknowledge that the damage occurred while the car was in their care. The response I received was that their policy is to notify the owner if any damages occur to the car, which I don't doubt, however in this case this damage wasn't reported or they felt like this damage was 'insignificant' enough to get away with.I have tried contacting the Melville Subaru through their website and customer service chat to no avail.

I am really disappointed with the service with them. Firstly, they don’t have good payment system, I had to pay 160 $ surcharge for payment through master card. Second, they said everything wad perfect but they sold the car with battery 7 years old, I had to call for uber to attain work when it didn’t start while I start to go for newly joined work.I have called them if I can get any help but they ignored.Facebook market is more credible then them.

Customer service is excellent. Car was done in a matter of hours.

Jane answered my call from service department and was not informative nor helpful. I bought my Subaru Forester from Gosnell Subaru 2021.When I called Gosnell Subaru for the same information that is, to update the maps, I got given a step by step instruction and an email that followed to reiterate the instructions and if I was still unable to do it, Gosnell Subaru invited me to bring the car in for FREE to have the map updated.Jane told me that I could update the maps myself and if not, she had checked with her manager and there was a $165 charge to do so. Just flippantly mentioned I could do it on wifi. She was not interested in helping whatsoever.Subaru Australia should provide good service for such small things without having to charge for it. I do not recommend. I had specifically asked to have my tyres rotated. Service form said that they had been however i had marked front tyres before my service so knew they hadnt. Pointed this out to them and they looked at my car and said im sure they did, i pointed out the liquid paper marks to be told that oh maybe they didnt need rotating again i replied i had stipulated on my form i wanted them rotated plus service department had listed on the form that this had been carried out. I question what actually had been completed at this and previous services Services were included in purchase of my Subaru outback. Returning now thankfully to my previous independent servicer.
