Jo is so lovely and takes amazing photos! The photos are light and airy focusing not only small baby features but cute family shots too! She has a questionnaire where you can send in sample shots so she can gauge what sort of photos you’re after. She’s super responsive and sent the photos within a few days. We love our photos!! Would highly recommend Jo!

Joanne was incredible to work with. Her communication via email was quick and informative. When Joanne arrived at my house to do a newborn shoot, I instantly felt relaxed and comfortable with her. She was great with my baby and I felt like her photos were exactly the style we were after, very relaxed and not too posed but reflected us as a family. Her turn around time was very quick for us to receive our photos and we were blown away with them. Hard to choose our favourites!

I cannot recommend Jo highly enough!We had some of our first family photos done with our son (10months old) and she was so patient, and bubbly, getting him smile and taking the time to make sure she got some lovely shots.We felt absolutely comfortable (and we are not camera loving people at all!)As for the end result of the images themselves, we absolutely love how natural and candid the photos are, and the editing is stunningly beautiful too!Definitely worth while :-)

We recently had a family photos with Jo. I cannot recommend her enough. She was wonderful with the children with lots of ticks up her sleeve to make the kids laugh. It was a session to remember.

We engaged Jo to take some newborn/family photos for us, and we could not recommend her more highly! Jo was fantastic to deal with from beginning to end. She was fab with my little ones (2 and 4 years old) and also with my parents for their grandparents shoot. This makes for the most beautiful candid photos that really capture the emotion of the moment. The images she produces are such high quality and it is clear that she is very skilled. She also goes over and above at every photo shoot in many ways. Her turnaround time for returning the gallery to you after the shoot is absolutely outstanding. I cannot recommend Fir Tree Photography enough! We recently had our maternity shoot - Jo was so kind and the results were fantastic. Looking forward to our newborn shoot in a few weeks!

We had a wonderful time with Jo during our session. It was probably one of the first few times we were taking our 7 month old to the beach - being nervous first time parents, everything ran smoothly and our anxiety melted away as we watched our baby enjoy himself, babbling and squealing throughout the shoot thanks to Jo! She was extremely easy to get along with, and immediately made us feel comfortable. The end result was better than what we had imagined, capturing natural memories of us as a family in the most amazing lighting. She's a natural talent at spotting the best angles for great spots and thankfully was also fantastic at instructing us on how to pose (which we needed). The turnaround time for our gallery to be available was also quicker than expected, which was an additional bonus.
