Base-Art & Framing

Really happy with the service at Base-art and Framing. I appreciate the patience and assistance in finding a final outcome I’m happy to hang on the wall. This original piece was tricky to colour and after lots of trials of samples, I’m happy with the outcome.

My first interaction with this organisation surrounded a very large spider.I had taken a photograph with my Samsung Note 2, which was of such high quality that I decided that it would be good for my mother to have a copy of it so I got the photograph blown up to A3, and took it to base art and framing to put it in a frame and glaze it to send off to my elderly mother.The work was outstanding. They took excellent care of the photograph and suggested ways of dividing it and then working out what colour matte to use for the best effect. I was so impressed with the work that I got them to do a second one from my own office.Brilliant. Just great work. Prices are excellent and the people are really friendly and know what they're talking about.

I have been searching for a good framers that is reasonably priced and with a quick turnaround and Base Art Framing ticks all of those boxes.Jai is lovely to deal with, keeps you up to date with the progress of your job and I was extremely happy with the result.

Extremely friendly and professional, and well priced. Had my painting mounted in a floating frame and Base-Art and framing were even able to straiten my bent canvas frame for me!! Was also able to get the artwork digitised onto a usb as a jpeg file by their fine art photographer :-) a one stop shop!! A++

Sharon and Tom provide a friendly atmosphere and are very knowledgeable in how to frame your special something to suit both the piece being framed as well as where you wish to display it. Their framing work is exceptional quality. You will not be disappointed!

What a find and what a terrific display of up and coming local artists. I meet Frilly the owner of this delightful basement studio through a friend. After speaking to her I'm now proudly displayed some of my paintings in the gallery as well.
