The Sideling Lookout
Amazing little lookout with panoramic views across rural North Tasmania farmland, located in a little lay by directly off the road. Basic toilet facilities. The fixed binoculars stand through which to look at landmarks is a nice touch. The area around the viewpoint is not really large or pretty enough to make a fantastic picnic space, but has bbq facilities, and it’s an amazing stop on the way through. There is also a bonus friendly currawong to help you eat you lunch!

Great veiw if you need to do a pit stop from the drive through the hills and to let the kids strech theirlegs. Has somewhere to have a BBQ or a picnic lunch with toilets available.

Lovely viewpoint looking over rural Tasmania. Viewing platform is smallish but there is a decent sized area for picnics, there's tables and chairs undercover and toilets.

What a wonderful view as well as a great place to enjoy a picnic. There are restrooms and tables. Do yourself a favor and go visit.

A nice break stop after driving along the windy mountain road. Beautiful view over the valley. It was a misty morning which made for some great photos.

We visited the lookout on a Sunday and had plenty parking.The scenery was great, a wonderful look across the valley of Springfield.
