Peacock Inn Hotel is a popular Pub and Restaurant with an Outdoor Beer Garden...The Sappora draft beer recommended by the bartender was a good one as was the Beef Stroganoff Pie with Peas and Mashed Potatoes recommendedby my cousin sister Priya...A definite must visit in the future as all the other specials like the Beef Vindaloo looked great

Great local pub. We ordered the Charcuterie board but they had to separate it due to the size of the table we sat on. Great selection of meats, cheeses and pate. The Eggplant chips were great and Chicken Parmigiana was good (which could’ve done with a better tasting napolitana sauce).

Recommended to us. Very busy the night before Oz day but still fantastic service. Chose light sides and entrees so we had room for what turned out to be an incredible dessert! Vanilla bean creme Brulee with berries was AMAZING. Clean facilities. Great vibe. Original music.

Decent Parma but for the price, I'd expect something a bit better. There was minimal ham, hardly any cheese and the tomato sauce seemed like it was out of a tin/jar.Apart from the Parma, the staff behind the bar were absolutely lovely.

Good place for just a beer in a nice beer garden but the food is definitely not worth it. Paid $30 for a half sized parm and less than a handful of chips.

Ate here last night. Lovely front dining room. Service from the young staff members on Saturday night was amazing. Food arrived quickly. Drinks arrived quickly. Lots of chilled water. Food very good. I had the chicken curry which was lovely. Someone in our group had the dips. They came out in 2 very small ramekins. A more generous amount in larger ramekins would have been good. Also maybe 3 dips instead of only 2. Apart from that a wonderful place to eat, drink and relax.

Always lovely. Staff are friendly and efficient. The menu has some fantastic staples and great specials; don't forget to check the blackboard inside! Really good selection of beers too, something for every palate.

Good spacious beer garden with plenty of bolt holes and shared spaces available. A covered area with a large TV is also prominent and visible from most of the beer garden. The beer selection is ok but with some tough competition in Northcote it could maybe do with a shake up. Overall a decent pub.

We have been to the Peacock many times and were looking forward to heading back (this time for lunch). Not sure if there has been a change in chef but the menu has definitely changed since we’d last been here.We had the Smoked Pulled Brisket & Jacks Cheese Spring Roll, Crumbed Classic Parma and House Made Pot Pie with Creamy Mash & Peas. The spring roll was delicious and so was the pie but the chips with the parma were super oily and to be honest the food as a whole was not as great as it used to be. Problem is that the prices don’t match the quality of food and High Street has many other options to offer. We’re unsure if we’ll be back as the staff are always awesome and the vibe is always good here. Maybe we’ll just visit for a pint next time.
