Great place for local grassroots Rugby league. The oval is kept in good condition, can get a bit wet after a bit of rain. Parking can be a bit hazardous at times.

The tide around Ted oval the entrance, changes so often with the tide, lovely area at the moment on a lovely day exercising and having a pork roll. Walking off the pork roll lol.

Ted Doyle was the first astronaut from the Central Coast. His capsule landed in this spot when he returned to Earth, so the council turned it into an oval and named it after him. Great place to play footy too
