Amanda Nullmeyers
Amanda is an excellent West Coast Swing teacher. Her instructions and demonstrations are clear and easy to follow. She is also encouraging and patient. Whilst the sessions are very technique focused she still manages to keep them fun with her energy and enthusiasm. I would highly recommend Amanda for West Coast Swing lessons.

SIMPLY THE BEST!! Will and I had so much fun learning to dance WCS with Amanda. We learned so much from her, especially in our private lessons. We cannot compliment Amanda enough on her professionalism, patience and sense of humour when dealing with memory-challenged people like us :-). We sadly had to stop dancing owing to injuries caused outside of dancing, and haven't yet been able to return. If you are interested in fun, fitness and moving well, jump into lessons with this fantastic teacher - you won't look back. Don't even think about, just do it. You won't regret it! We miss you Amanda!

Amanda is simply AWESOME!!!! Not only is she an amazing assistant in my West Coast Swing classes but she is a fantastic performer having both performed with her and choreographed several West Coast Swing and Argentine Tango performances for her. Amanda is a kind and patient teacher who will not only improve your dancing but make it a fun journey.

My wife recently turned 60 and decided it was time for her to pursue one of her dreams of learning to dance. She wanted to learn a dance style that we could do together. As she manages my hockey team, we figured it was only fair that we also do something that she likes. We approached Amanda Nullmeyers and asked her to teach us West Coast Swing. We have seen videos of this style of dance and felt that we would enjoy it. We took 8 private dance lessons with Amanda to learn all the basic moves. Amanda was very patient with us and explained the need to understand the roles of leading (me) and following (my wife). She wanted us to be able to read each other’s moves so that not only we can dance with each other, we could also dance with anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our dance classes. Amanda is a patient and engaging teacher. She quickly worked out our preferred learning styles and tailored her teaching to us. She took the time to carefully explain and demonstrate the steps and ensured that we could follow her. Amanda’s classes were full of fun and laughter – she always maintained a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. She answered all of our silly questions and always encouraged and motivated us at every stage. We loved learning to dance West Coast Swing with Amanda and we would recommend her to anyone, new or experienced, to learn from her.

Amanda Nullmeyers is an amazing West Coast Swing teacher.My wife and I had been taking group lessons for about 6 months when my wife suggested we get private lessons with Amanda. I was hesitant and thought it would be a waste of time and money since we were already able to do all the moves we learned from the group lessons, but my wife insisted. In the very first lesson, Amanda proved me wrong by making a few nuanced changes to moves we’d been doing for months, and instantly making them clearer and more comfortable to both me and my wife. She’s been our private lesson teacher for 6 months and counting. As a teacher, Amanda is able to seamlessly transition between leading and following, and is able to clearly communicate dance concepts and terminology to people without a strong background in dance. As a person, Amanda is kind, polite, and professional. I highly recommend her for private WCS lessons to anyone who wants to learn or improve their dancing skills.

Amanda Nullmeyers is my West Coast Swing teacher and she's taught me in group classes and private lessons for almost 2 years.My private lessons with Amanda have accelerated my growth as a WCS dancer the most (by a long way). She's simply amazing to work with and her feedback, guideance and personal attention to my own goals has developed my dancing skills and taken them to new levels.My quality of movement has improved dramatically since I first started. This includes my weight transfer between each step, my ability to lead and importantly, my connection with my dance partners.When I first started WCS I was nervous, self-conscious and unsure of myself as it was my first real partner dance. The great thing about Amanda is that she creates a friendly and non-judgemental environment which gave me the opportunity to explore ideas and movement. Most of all, feeling comfortable partner dancing.I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough to anyone wanting to improve their West Coast Swing dancing. Both leaders and followers will see dramatic improvement even after just a few lessons.
