Rude Rude RudeWe booked holiday accommodation - 61 voyagers drive banksia beach . Bribie Island Real Estate also had a video which highlighted a spa bath . The spa wasn’t working and when we spoke to them they said it was not advertised with a spa in the written section and therefore they won’t do anything . They also said “we manage over 100 properties and don’t have enough staff to look after everything “ . The team at Bribie Island Real Estate are rude and condescending. If I ran my business like they did I would be ashamed .61 Voyagers Drive Banksia BeachThe property negatives :The managing agentsNothing supplied not even basics like salt/pepper etc .They request you clean up before leaving but do not supply cleaning productsEverything has to be purchased and then left as can’t take them back homeGas bottle empty and had to go fill it up and BBQ looked like not been cleaned in 12 months - it took a lot of elbow grease to be able to use itAdvertised Spa didn’t work - No one caredHouse was dusty and all appliances sticky and dirty . My recommendation is they get checked after each rental .Positives:Nice large houseFantastic pool - even though the creepy Crawley runs must of the day whilst u are swimming and you are not allowed to remove it .Great canal view

Looking after our AirBnB booking. Bit unhappy about their taking $500 off us because they couldn't work out our booking was for more than 28 days. Isn't that pretty bloody clear on the booking summary. You now have the use of our $500 for 45 days. NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!LATER Feedback - so as you can see from the response this business actually charged us the $500 bond and offered us a pretty lame excuse as to why. The real issue arose after we left recently and rather than refunding the bond money they took ANOTHER $500. So now they have a $1000 of ours that they are not entitled to. Pretty poor - never use them again and will warn others away. DEFS NOT HAPPY JAN!!!!

Take money that is not owed to them from deposits. Claim breakages that were not broken and consumables that were not consumed, or were because that is what they are there for. We were charged $50 for toliet paper and dishwashing tablets... no receipts or proof of over use were provided. 100% would not stay with this company again.

Very creepy and unprofessional real estate. The principal/owner of the business used to turn up on our doorstep unannounced while I was working trying to have a coffee" with my partner and was politely declined several times.Had many different property managers within 2 years at the property without even being made aware of any changes etc. The most recent "assistant" property manager whom we never met nor heard of shared our personal and lease details with every Tradesmen on there books along with who knows what else.Just please be aware and do your research. Very unpleasant

1 star is even a far fetched a compliment for this business.. My company booked a unit for the weekend to attend the Jimmy Barnes concert and unfortunately he had to reschedule until August 2023. We let them know straight away and pleaded for them to NOT cancel but reschedule until August 2023. The response we got from the owner is it’s the terms and conditions there was no refunds, yes we didn’t want a refund so that’s perfect. We were then told we wouldn’t be able to reschedule and we would lose $1300 we already paid! They proceeded to tell us it wasn’t their problem and there’s more to bribie than a concert.. Yes I know, I have lived on this island for 20 years but thank you for letting me know. Then our only option was to either stay, put our booking up and hope someone booked it again then we would get our money back. Unfortunately we just received an email saying it wasn’t booked and we only receive $157.50 as our refund from $1300.. we didn’t cancel our booking and all we asked for was to reschedule to a later date. After now reading the reviews left from other people that has experienced the same, it saddens me there is no empathy or consideration into unforeseen change of events. They are a business that needs to make money but when the situation is out of ours hands, there was no consideration and now they have lost another customer that won’t be returning when needing to book accomodation in August. I will not be recommending them to anyone on the Island and it’s horrible to have these types of unempathetic people in our community. Please don’t book with this company because in case of changes out of your control, they will not give you a refund or even let you reschedule to later dates. They are going to continue to hide behind their terms and conditions and use the word legal in hopes people don’t find them to be money takers

Our company booked several houses to rent and this company continually made up over inflated charges with no backup documentation for cleaning fees etc. They even had the audacity to charge for dishwasher tablets and toilet paper after we had left and with no authority debitted our credit card. When we tried to get our money returned they didnt reply to our emails. Stay away from this company, 1 star is too many.

Booked a rental through AIRbnd from this place, less than 24 hours later realised that i had booked a place 2.5 hours away from where we would be traveling to on a daily basis . Sent a very apologetic message to them and asked for a refund. They decided to not give me a full refund but instead keep $100 of my money. Even after begging, pleading and threatening to post a bad review, they still refused to give me my money back. Them refusing to refund my $100 meant that the airbnb service fee would also be withheld which was $162. So in total i lost $262 because this company refused to have sympathy and give me back my money. So i have lost $262 and haven't stayed at their place at all. I should have read the reviews before booking. I am heartbroken and extremely disappointed. As a company please learn to give people their money back, its not your money. You cant keep someones money when they haven't even used your services, its unheard of.

Was considering booking holiday accomodation through manage Kayla Andrews and found her to be rather rude and unaccommodating.In leaving a review, it is clear that we were not the only people with this experience.I do understand that it must be difficult during COVID to try and navigate certain policies; but they could at least do so more politely.It is a shame to see that so many people have to have write negative reviews before they see reason to make changes in their approach.

I booked a stay on Airbnb managed by Bribie Island Real Estate, I cancelled due to neck pain and back pain caused by the bedding and furniture and found it unsuitable for my stay after 2 days, requested refund for the unused days. The company hid behind their terms and conditions and pocketed the large amount for the weeks stay.I found the team rude, unpleasant to deal, unwilling to listen to feedback and being defensive. Not required you’re in the services industry.Seeing all the other low ratings here make sense and the excuses attempted to make in their responses as well.
