Hill Street Grocer Blackmans Bay

Excellent range of local and international foods. Good bakery and deli options. So what pricey. Would have been 5 stars but bumped into Eric Abetz there once - so somewhat dangerous.

Hill Street at Blackmans Bay has all the Produt lines one would expect.Also a fantastic Meat and Fish

Such a fine selection of fresh fruit, veg and smallgoods! Presented so attractively and professionally...And the bread is excellent, fresh and full of flavour. The meats and sausages are top quality, and I love the selection of cheeses! Always a treat to shop at Hill Street!

Quality fresh produce including breads, deli items, meat, fruit & veggies!Friendly staff and a clean shop.It's not a big store, but the customer service is fantastic and the produce is great!

The variety of choice ingredients is why I keep coming back. Although I would like to see specials on the meat as they are always top dollar.

Something about Hill Street shops is just wonderful, seems to be greater care in presentation of fresh produce the variety in the deli is just a bit better than normal. I do love shopping for the speciality items at Hill Street.

You've got to love everything that's on offer, fantastic range from gourmet coffees and home made meals to outstanding quality veg but you pay much more for it.

Sister went in. She loves the store.However, I'm impressed with Dentist next door. Both of us went there. Wish dentistry was as good as it is today, 40 years ago. Would not have issues l have now. MM

Ok, I've been sitting on this for a while hoping that something is going to change. However verbal communication doesn't work with these guys so maybe they will pay attention to internet reviews.We are locals who shop here almost every day on regular basis as it is on the way home. Even though Hill Street Grocer is more expensive than other grocery shops, we love the produce they sell and selection of great food.Now to the disturbing part that occurs regularly. You need to watch what you are buying and how much it costs (as price tag states). Very often price tag shows one value but during check out items scan with different prices (usually higher). When you point this out to the staff they overwrite it manually but don't change it in the system. So next customer will be overcharged again if not attentive enough.Today we bought bananas that were advertised for $1.95 per kilo. I saw on the screen that they scan for $2.4 and pointed it out to the lady at register. She said Oh yes
