What an amazing restaurant! From the moment you walk in the experience is one of the best in Canberra.The interior is well done and each area has its own feel. The food was all top quality with amazing serving sizes.Our party had the $95, 6 course meal ($135 with matching wines). The way it works is you are given a huge selection, and you can pick 6 items from anywhere on the menu (if you wanted to, you could have six mains and they scale the size depending on what course it is) the table must all have the same six items.Every dish was sensational and expertly prepared. Our waitress was amazing and the wine pairings complimented each dish perfectly.

Excellent meal from start to finish. The wait staff were top notch, the atmosphere was a very pleasant and sophisticated which made a great dining experience. Highly recommended for a special dinner, event or celebration.

Definitely one of my favourites. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful.We had the 6 course degustation which was definitely plentiful!The courses are delicious. Well plated with a wide range of ingredients that really worked well together. We liked that we were able to choose 6 courses from the whole menu.Would love to come back again.

this is my favourite fine dining place. i love that its quiet and a bit casual with amazing food and wonderful service.i love the fairy lights atmosphere in the 'pavillion' area out the back.

An absolutely fantastic evening celebrating our parents 40th wedding anniversary. Great atmosphere, delicious menu and great staff and service! Highly recommended for a special occasion

Probably one of the more romantic, upscale type of restaurant I’ve been to. The atmosphere, decor and music are all very exclusive, and I love how sectioned off parts of the restaurant are so you feel you have some privacy and aren’t over hearing other people’s conversations. Food was delicious and the plating was beautiful. Gnocchi and kingfish sashimi were probably my favourites, and the yabbies were lovely too. Not my favourite beef tartare personally though. But overall delicious. Great service!

Outstanding service and exceptional food and wine in an intimate, warm setting. The five course degustation option is flexible, well paced and generously portioned. Highly recommend, and cannot wait to return.

Had a very special family dinner at Rubicon. Our family are long-time patrons of this restaurant. I have to say though, the food was very nice, but the service on Saturday (10 June 2023) left quite a bit to be desired. We constantly had to ask for drinks, and were often then somewhat rudely quizzed and begrudgingly served by the rather abrupt man who was “looking after” us. Some kind treatment of those amongst us who are elderly would’ve been nice. The food was, overall, up to standard. But the promised “special birthday desserts” were just one of the desserts with one candle, and the staff didn’t seem to know about that arrangement and had to be asked twice. One person got the wrong dessert, and was then given another one she hadn’t ordered. I was rudely told to move out of the way by one staff member, as other people were leaving as we were also preparing to leave. Overall, I found this whole experience disappointing and felt quite cross about how we were treated. On this occasion (a 90th birthday dinner for 14 people), you let us down Rubicon.

Simply put, Rubicon is outstanding. The wait staff and sommelier are great and the food is sensational.We had the design your own" 6 course degustation with paired wine and each dish was perfect. My favourite was the gruyere souffle
