Always lovely meat! Once you’ve shopped here you won’t be able to buy supermarket meat or poultry again. They really do have the best quality meat & poultry. Yes, it’s a tad more expensive but totally justified by the quality of the produce; you’re not paying for water and scrappy stuff you’d only trim away either. In a hurry the other week, I bought some supermarket chicken thighs and lived to regret it when I had to trim away bits of bone, gristle and unpleasant fat; never have this issue with Peter Augustus poultry. The service is outstanding and they’re always happy to provide advice when asked. I won’t buy meat anywhere else now. Try their Waygu beef burgers! Love this place.

Went there this morning after work, amazing range of products and customer service.Very knowledgeable i had my 7.45am tartare and i'm just sorry i haven't bought more.It's comforting finding someone with skills only 4 minutes from homeCan't give 10 stars but worth probably more.Great great great thanks again you made my day.

I drove there today to buy some sausages but they were closing as I arrived right on 2pm. I asked one of the boys if I can just grab some sausages as I drove 40mins to get there. He didn't really care. His response was we're closed" ... very disappointed! How hard is it to put a few sausages in a bag for a good customer closed or not.? Your standing in the shop

My favourite butcher! I live in Banyo and drive across town just to stock up on meat. Clint and Jimmy are the friendliest butchers around and are always willing to give you great advice. My go-tos are the sirloin steaks, the black mafia steaks and the tomahawk for special occasions, but I always love seeing what's new in the cabinet. I bought the beef wellington just before Christmas and it was amazing!

The team at Peter Augustus are ALWAYS incredibly helpful about the meat and the way the meat gets to them. They know their stuff!The quality of the meat is always incredibly apparent too not only in its presentation but its taste. To the point now that if I can't get to them to buy our meat (yes it's slightly more expensive in basic $$ comparisons) I often won't eat meat for that dish!So so so good - and coming from overseas it's brilliant to see real butchers not supermarket 'rubbish'.Thank you!BW

Fantastic steak I popped in today to get some eye filet as a treat for NYE melted in my mouth was so good . I have to be careful what I eat as I have stomach issues and it’s been a long time since I’ve had a steak this good thanks to the staff at camp hill today great service

I think the products are overpriced, I don't think the smoked ham was really something I could have again but that's my personal choice.The crumbed veal steaks shocking ! Inconsistent, size and thickness i had more crumb in the bag than on the steak , it wasn't floured so the crumb didn't stick well .If you don't flour your steak then maybe double crumb you get a better result.Please take on board as positive criticism as business is not a easy game.

This butcher has the best pies! I can honestly say this chicken and bacon pie would have to be the best pie I’ve had in many years… We also tried the nutty beef stirfry, wow! Absolute amazing experience. If we could give you more than five stars we most certainly would. Actually my partner has just left a review so we have given you 10 stars. Thanks very much for providing outstanding service to our community.

I’m lovin it. The meats are better at Peter Augustus. It’s where good brisket…becomes…burnt ends. Usually come here to get chicken tonight and tomorrow. With the different meats, you’ll be thriving on the courses, yeah!, yeah!

We have been coming here for years. Such great products, info and knowledge of where the meat came from. They also stock free range pork which is fantastic. Their Angus rib fillet steak is absolutely the best ever, we even give it as gifts to our loved ones. Service is always friendly, helpful and unpretentious. One of our fav butchers around!
