Bunyip Springs Farm Stay
An amazing experience! The hosts, Kathy and Reg, are wonderful and there's so much to do on the farm - feed the chooks, milk the cows and walk over the beautiful property - as well as explore the nearby Coomba Falls and Bunya Mountains. The kids had a blast and with other cabins on the property you get to share the experience and make new friends in the process. We can't wait to come back next year!

My whole family including the children had great fun experiencing the farm stay here, feeding the animals, milking the cows and riding the horse. Warm hospitality from the owners Kathy and Reg.

A truly hands-on farm stay experience! We loved our stay at Bunyip Springs! Affordable, comfortable and very enjoyable. Our 20 month old son loved the chickens and collecting their eggs, playing with Bonnie the dog, seeing the alpacas and cows. It was so special to have his first horse riding experience too. The adults also loved milking the cows and having time to explore the property. Thank you Kathy! We'll definitely be back!

We had a great family weekend at Bunyip Springs. Kathy and Reg were wonderful hosts and have a wide selection of farm animals including alpacas, chickens, cows and horses. There were 2 feeding sessions a day and we thoroughly enjoyed feeding and patting the animals and milking the cows. The farm environment is tranquil and I am not sure if it’s the clean air or quietness, but we slept like babies n woke up feeling Super recharged! My son especially enjoyed meeting Bonnie the dog!!. The lodge where we stayed was very clean and comfortable. Overall a 5 star experience and we will def be back!

20 members of our family had a magical weekend at Bunyip Springs (3 generations and nine grandkids from 1 to 12 years old). It was amazing to see how much confidence the youngers one developed over the weekend as they fed chickens, rode Kit the horse, patted alpacas and had a fairly intense milking competition. They also roamed around the property, had adventures, swam in a local water-hole and went bush-walking. It was a beautiful experience for the family.

We have just returned from a weekend stay at Bunyip Springs Farmstay - in fact we love it so much that this was our 6th year in a row and we have booked again for next year.Farmer Kathy & Reg are excellent with the children & the animals and as there are limited kids there at any one time this is a truly personalised experience. From milking cows, feeding chickens, riding horses and looking after the alpacas - Farmers Kathy & Reg are there every minute to guide the kids. There are even suggested walks through the expansive property so you can head off and explore without getting in the car! If you do want to go further afield there are plenty of things close by to visit. Our kids rate this as a highlight each year and they enjoy every minute. As parents, we love to see them have fun like this, but we also enjoy the quality accommodation, and the overall experience - stargazing is amazing and board games by the indoor fire fun too!As we come with another family each year, we book the lodge which comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 4 children. We highly recommend this farmstay as it is a brilliant experience for the whole family.

What more can i say. Bunyip springs was exactly what i was looking for when I was researching farmstays for my birthday. Kathy was an amazing and  friendly host. She let us feed the farm animals, collect and keep the eggs from the chickens and even milk the cows! I loved waking up in the mornings and being greeted my the cows at the doorstep. Can't forget to mention Bonnie the friendliest farm dog who loves to interact with the guests and come to your door to say hello and extra pats. Will definitely be back in the future and will bring the kids next time. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at Bunyip Springs, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by a distressing incident. One of the farm dogs viciously and repeatedly attacked an alpaca over a 10-minute time period. As animal lovers, we were deeply saddened by this incident. We wanted to share our experience to make others aware of the incident before deciding to stay at this farm.
