Da Barber House

Pretty average service. The barbers are just trying to crank out volume in the shortest timeframes. One could find better.

I have been a long time customer since they opened, have always taken my son for hair cuts there also who usually gets Sammy who does a wonderful job, now I wish my experiences were as great but unfortunately within the last year the service and customer service has gone down hill tremendously. I got a hair cut today 21 August 2022, I got a guy in a blue polo top (should have saw that red flag) who had an attitude and the personality of a cardboard box, constantly having to clarify what I want done, cut my hair without purpose and pretty much was useless, started on my beard which I regret terribly and got him to stop when he finished the fade he had done (finished myself at home). Not sure if they have changed owners/management but Originally “Da barber house” had a strong focus on their customer service and cuts but looks like this has changed and and for the price they are now charging I regrettably will be looking for a new regular barber.

This place use to be good, yet to many inexperienced barbers. I’d come here to hope to get this Barber named Yusuf. Today he wasn’t there and got someone who looked like they didn’t know how to cut hair, fades uneven really disappointed wouldn’t recommend to anyone else, go somewhere else

There's kid working as a hairdresser, I knew he's not good and also because of other bad reviews about him. But unlucky for me, he got my haircut done. It's a rough messy job, unprofessional and bad customer service. I counted that he completed 2-3 haircuts while the rest hairdressers only finish one. That's the difference, no attention to detail at all. I don't get it why you hire him to ruin the whole shop?!Been a long term customer there, quality is average, sometimes under standard. The only thing bothers me now is that card payment surcharge. It’s illegal to charge over 8% surcharge!! ($2.5 over $30 haircut) I remember the bank only charge under 2% plus rental fee per month. You are not allowed to surcharge more than bank charged you. My first impression with that surcharge is are they going to push people to pay cash to avoid taxes?!

When a guy wants a haircut, there's nothing better than turning up and getting what you want with no fuss and a good result achieved. Quick and convenient way to get your mop chop..

I don't really have an issue with the quality of my cuts, but the place seems unprofessional, nobody is personable or particularly friendly, it feels like a wild inconvenience if you say you want something done differently. I'll be looking elsewhere. And why is there always some random young guy (an assistant, hair sweeper?) always just hanging around distracting the barbers. I'd literally rather pay more to have friendly staff who actually look and act like they want to be there.

Horrible experience at this shop. They used to be good when they opened. But they now have kids 14 or 15 years giving a haircut. I was hoping I'd get an experienced barber when I walked in but my number got called and it was a kid had to get a haircut from.It is extremely unprofessional to have kids to cut adult people's hair. If so they definitely need to be supervised or be provided with adequate training. Sure the owner of the shop would want to get a haircut from an experienced barber so should not be putting his customers through it. its unfair on the customers and unfair on those kids too.The cut was horrible. The fade was uneven. And they charged $45 for the worst haircut when the usual charge is about $35.Will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone else.

Very happy with the barber and how he handled my son getting his hair cut for the first time. He was quick and did a great job with the cut also. Overall very happy!

Disgraceful experience at the barber house. I asked for a fade but got an ugly patchy mess for $32.50. Told the guy exactly what I wanted but some how did not understand a word of English and needed clarification. Further to this I would correct the barbers workmanship and he told me straight out “but it’s too curly buddy”. If they are getting juniors to cut hair, they should not be charging $32.50. I was shocked to literally see what looked like a 12 year old cutting a customers hair right next to me. If you want a dodgy hair cut, which funds the owners AMG and Versace shoes by all means give them a go.

I came into the shop today as my usual barber was fully booked. The atmosphere was great,however, the service was awful to say the least. I asked for a skin fade and trim top. How ever I walked out with a cut head and a butchered fade. The barber cutting my hair looked as though he was at least 15, he had no people skills, minimum English and was not an overall friendly person. Will not be returning
