The team at the Mac shop Launceston were very friendly and helpful when I went into the store yesterday. Even though I was unsure of the specific item to suit my needs, their knowledge of products ensured my purchase met my requirements. I had done an internet search for the item I thought might suit me, and I was surprised that the Mac shop had a lower price than the major chain stores. At no time were the staff dismissive of my limited knowledge of electronics. They must have received excellent training in dealing with ‘elderly luddites’! I was very pleased with the service.Highly recommend this team.

I rang the mac shop with a vague question about my teenagers phonei prattled for far longer and gave far more personal detail to the customer service woman Sarah than was necessary. Later in the day as she had requested we went in and she looked at said teenagers phone. There was a guaranteed saleopportunity for Sarah here. Sarah was not only helpful, honest and 'knew her stuff', when she was aware I was clueless, but she took a higher moral ground and forwent a sale in order to assist. She showed compassion and empathy for the situation instead of putting the sale first. The Mac shop must be congratulate for having fantastic staff like Sara. There is no hesitation that I will return to purchase future phones and computers at the Launceston store.

iPhone vibration motor was loose in the phone this was a replacement phone I got from here.Took phone in no estimate on time would take to resolve (please watch out they will take your device Do as they please and bill you)Went to pick up the phone they explained that it was an issue with a lose Taptic Engine and they’re tightened it up then they tried to charge me $90 stating that Apple didn’t pay them for labour.I asked if it wasn’t coverd under warranty and consumer law, they came back and waved the fee (bacause it was).I wish Apple service providers weren’t so shady and were up front.
