Beautiful waterfall. Very tranquil and serene. Went on a beautiful clear day, so nice to watchThe steps to go down are OK, dont let other reviews make you believe they are impossible, you just take your time.

There is a lookout overlooking the waterfall near the parking lot but you'll have to walk down for about 1km to see it from the base. Also you may want a 4WD or AWD because the roads can be a bit dicey when wet.

Hopetoun Falls
Easy-moderate short walk to these magnificent falls. Unfortunately the platform is quite far from the falls themselves so recommend bringing a camera with some zoom. Very serene to hear the crashing of the waterfall as you traverse down the path. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to spot a platypus.

A nice little waterfall to visit, if you are traveling along the Great Ocean Road, that can only be viewed from a platform about 30m from it.The trail leading to the waterfall consists a short walk and some steps, difficulty level easy to medium.There is a small car parking lot, free of charge, right next to the trail leading down to the waterfall.There are no restrooms at the site.

Very touristy in summer with everyone wanting to cool off in the water and get as close as they can to the falls as pretty much everyone was ignoring the lookout boundary and climbing over to walk up to them. That said, it is a beautiful spot, and worth coming back out of Summer if you want a special photo to remember it by.

Soak up the spray as the Hopetoun Falls plummet 30 metres into the Aire River in the Great Otway National Park. Take in the view from the upper platform, or descend some 200 stairs leading through glades of tree ferns to the base of the falls. The platform here has a bench perfect for taking in the views and resting the knees.

Beautiful waterfall situated right around the great ocean road. If you plan to visit the triplets waterfall, do not miss this out.It’s just 150-200 steps from the car park to the falls. It’s not so hard but shoes are recommended. Such an amazing natural waterfall among ferns ❤️

Quite afew larger steps to get down to the bottom where there's a small platform and one little seat. A great spot to sit and listen to the great falls if it's not busy, otherwise it can become quite crowded very quickly. The rainforest on the way in is absolutely beautiful in any case, so a great spot to show off what The Otways rainforest is all about

You cannot park with a trailer as there is only space for between 3 and 5 cars. To get down you need to walk a few steps. We went on a rainy day. The steps had mouchy mud. You just need to come equipped with good shoes and a raincoat. At the bottom you only find a plateforme, you cannot swim.

Beautiful falls in the Otways. About 200 steps down (quite steep for the return treck, so take it easy on the way up). We went on a rainy day, and was still popular so had to park above the entrance road to ensure safe parking (as a full parking area near the track entrance). The track is well maintained, but muddy on the wet days, so bring some waterproof shoes and enjoy these gorgeous falls. Totally recommended if you're in the area
