I've only recently switched my mobile phone(s) to Optus.Had the utter displeasure of having to seek assistance from the Flagship Store in Queen St, on Friday 21 May 2023.Met by female 'greeter' who informed me that there were 2 persons ahead of me, but it would take 15 mins approx to find somebody to assist with my inquiry.I told her that I was unable to wait for 15mins as I had another appointment.She then suggested, that if I came back after my appointment, she'd fit me straight in and that I wouldn't have to 'queue up'.I came back an hour later and met a male greeter who told me that the female who served? me earlier was in the toilet and would be back in a minute or two.15 mins later, female reappeared, with no apology etc.No offer to get somebody to assist either.I waited 45 mins for a service tech, who after trying his best to assist, couldn't do a thing to resolve my issue.Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with what I experienced in this store, from start to finish.If anyone is considering going into this store looking for assistance, please don't.

Family members phone broke only a few hours before she was going out. We rushed down to Optus and the staff immediately helped us and got us back on track very quickly would highly recommended. :)

Huge thank you for this worker who was so kind to me. I felt so anxious by the fact that my phone broke down and i was alone in the city. Really calmed me down and made sure i got the new phone working. I hope this message gets to her also. Visited today, brune hair women you are the best!!

I made my order online nearly a week ago and had been asked for a call back to an Optus call centre for 4-5 times, approx 30mins each just to verify my IDs and then on the last call, I’d been told my order has been withdrawn because they need me to send a clear copy of a proof of my delivery address (a personal document with my delivery address attached) just to let me order keep being processed. That’s ridiculous when the email address was with an affix of .in. Plus the background noise from their end each time guaranteed nothing than a scam to me to send my personal documents to them.However, I got everything sorted in store here with a phone to take home and a sim card activated. Anthony was super friendly from the start as a greeter at the time, told me to have a seat, someone will be with me right after 4 people. He asked which phone I ordered and all of the sudden told me he'll quickly check if its in stock for me. Then got me sorted in about 15 mins while being able to hold the front line till. He was amazingly helpful.There was a 40 minute wait but got the result rather than being asked to call back 5 times in 5 days and getting to nowhere from Optus call centre.

Very disappointed with this store. Wanted to upgrade my plan and device, was told by the host at the door that it would be a 10-15 minute wait and they had stock of the phone I wanted. Waited an hour before being served only to be told they actually didn't have any stock of the phones. Customer service seemed sluggish and unprofessional, and the hosts needs to learn to manage customer expectation by being honest and upfront, she wasn't even apologetic when I asked how much longer the wait would be. Go to the Adelaide Street store instead, always had a much better experience there.

I have never encountered a more incompetent and infuriating customer support team than the one at Optus. They have wasted countless hours of my time and energy trying to resolve account issues that should have been straightforward to handle. Yet, despite my best efforts, they have been unable to provide a satisfactory solution.Their representatives are rude, unhelpful, and clearly lack the necessary skills to do their job effectively. They seem to take pleasure in frustrating customers and have no regard for the impact their incompetence has on people's lives.It's unacceptable that a company as large as Optus cannot provide basic customer service. Instead, they make it nearly impossible to speak to someone who can provide actual assistance, leaving you to navigate a labyrinth of automated responses and unhelpful support pages.If you're considering using Optus, don't bother. The company's complete disregard for customer satisfaction and their abysmal customer support are not worth your time or money. Save yourself the frustration and find a company that values its customers and can provide the service and support they deserve.

Don't you just love it when you walk into a store and everyone just ignores you. They can see that you are looking for assistance, are reasonably well presented and are not there to just look around" but they ignore you anyway. Even more so when they have someone at the door

Andreas, the retail store assistant manager did a wonderful job of quickly and efficiently resolving an issue I had, all whilst managing the store team, many customers during a busy period, and all with a cheery disposition towards myself, the team, shop customers, and the service team in Sydney. Thank you. Job well done. Excellent work.

Update [30th May 2023]This branch doesn't close earlier than the schedule, but you are advised to come in 1 hour before the official closing time.Reason:Due to the high walk-in rate and limited employees available, they have a walk-in waiting list" that can go up to more than 10 people. So come in 1 hour+ before closing time so that you can get on the waiting list.It seems that the employees will close the doors 1 hour or 30 minutes before the official closing hours when they have a full waiting list worth of people waiting upstairs.Aside from that
