The Roseville Club

We were there for a birthday party. Small club with a little function room.

We dropped in for dinner.My first time there. It’s not your typical RSL club around Sydney, and is a little older in style with less of a focus on pokies, and more on cheap beers and decent food. Trivia was on when we were there too on a Thursday night.I grabbed the roast special and the Mrs grabbed the boscaiola.Food tasted good! My pork crackling was epic. Drinks were cheap too.

3 years ago, my rating was 5, today it would be zero if I could.We pre arranged a group meal, to be after a short mtg that was finished by 8Some had the meal early, horrifically part of the meals were uncooked and still frozen!!Layer and To our amazement and disappointment we emerged from the mtg to order a heap of meals to find the restaurant was closed and staff all gone home.Needs less to say we were upset, so we proceeded to the Greengate pub and had an amazing meal.Sad this location has dropped the ball after so many past enjoyable meals

Lovely Mothers Day lunch. The specials were delicious and beautifully presented. Service was quick and staff were excellent

A small local club, it’s a quiet joint across from the station. I had the steak and it was cooked to the liking that I actually asked for, which is a first for a pub steak

I had walked past the Roseville Club a few times as it is walking distance from our house - I thought this would be handy to take the kids out for dinner and get them home nice and early after a feed while we have a couple of beers. I looked on the website and noticed that they were advertising 'kids eat free' on a Saturday night, perfect I thought, it is kid friendly.So last weekend we walked to the club, entered and immediately felt unwelcome. The death stares we got from the men behind the bar were uncomfortable. My husband asked about the menu and they rudely pointed around the corner and said you need to order there (like we should have known this, duh). We waited for the kitchen to open patiently all the while getting terrible service every time we went to the bar.Our kids are young so we took a couple of toy trucks so they could entertain themselves and we were told off rudely for leaving one of these toys on the floor near our table, it was incredibly rude (they could have asked us nicely to remove it from the floor and it wouldn't have been a problem). They quite clearly did not want children in the club. Unfortunately we had already ordered food by this time otherwise we would have walked out. Food was OK, service abysmal. Probably the worst food/drinking experience I have had in Sydney. We most definitely won't be going back, even if the drinks are free. Do yourself a favour and don't set foot in this joint.

I had my 21st party at this venue and it was an extremely fun night. I hired the two end rooms out and it was perfect. The staff were amazing and very kind to all my guests. The food platters I ordered from their catering service were all delicious and they provided as per my guests dietary requirements :) would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good venue to host a party at!!
