Southern Cross Medical Imaging

I went in for MRI yesterday, They were very busy at reception but were nice and polite. The star of the review was Nathan though. Nathan was really patient, understanding and through professional. I freaked out and was cluster fobic but he made it very smooth and quick. I am really thankful.

Had an MRI done at this place today. Second time I’ve been here. The front desk was very helpful and informative. The radiologist was very empathetic, understanding, and gave clear instructions. I had to see my doctor two hours after the scan, and they put my report as urgent and sent it through in time. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

Today we had Evan do an X-ray for my son who suffers high anxiety with anything medical. He took the time to gently help my son through the procedure. I could not commend him highly enough with how he helped my son today. Well done and thank you so much Evan.

Ridiculously rude reception staff. I ACCIDENTALLY spilt a bit of coffee on the reception desk. Apologised very genuinely over and over again, only to be ignored whilst the receptionists complained to each other and huffed and puffed. When I went the desk after my X-ray they didn’t even look me in the eye when talking and were just plain rude and unprofessional.2 stars only because the technician was lovely.

Staff were super friendly and there was barely a wait for the appointment reception managed to squeeze me in for the day before. Very busy, always someone coming in and going so I’d recommend calling/booking an appointment rather than walk in.

All staff were very helpful , understanding and patient throughout my entire apt. I am claustrophobic and Nathan went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and understood each step during the MRI scan and what has been a turbulent health journey for me to date . To be treated respectfully and with empathy during busy times is so nice to see. Thank you again .

This is hands down the best run medical imaging place I have ever been to. The service and the staff were flawless from start to finish. The Reception team are polite, calm, super efficient and thoughtful and thorough - cannot rate them highly enough. The technician who took my imaging was brilliant - very calm, explained exactly what she was doing as she was doing it, and the experience that I would feel when a dye was being injected (and she was spot on). The whole place was very clean, bright and very well set out and very quiet despite being so busy. Well done to the team and management - this is how imaging and patient care should be done.(For anyone reading this, no I am not affiliated and I’m not getting paid for the review - I work in the medical industry and know what good looks like. And this is it.)

Shame I can’t put a 0 star for this disgraceful place. Rude staff and extremely unhelpful. We arrived 15 mins before appointment and was told that The GP hadn’t sent through the referral as promised. Called GP whoTold us they would fax it through straight away. They faxed it through 25 mins later after us constantly asking if they had sent it and kept calling GP. Finally got faxed 10 mins after our scheduled appointment time to be told that the scan was probably not going to take place as it was now passed our appointment time. Are you kidding me!!! Was so rude about it and was rolling her eyes and said she would have to check if the doctor would still be happy to do it. Place was super busy and making people wait passed their appointment times anyway. Would not recommend. Left work early for this. Don’t expect to be treated with respect or care, they don’t care!!!!Rude Rude Rude. If you can pick somewhere else I would highly recommend to do so!

ProfessionalProfessionalAnd, Friendly staff right from the Reception to the Lab. No complaints whatsoever, I would definitely and highly recommend the patients in case if required the Radiology examinations done.
