Lake Hart Rest Area
Great stop on the way to or from Port Augusta. No toilets but nice outlook. There were plenty of caravans stopped here.

Great Roadside stop with views over Lake Hart. Very full because of recent rain. Not dry and salty.

This place was such an incredible spot. We stayed here the night and the sunset and sunrise was truly something else! Recommend this place 100 times over!

This is the perfect place to stretch your legs, with some Telstra reception you can even respond to texts while getting your circulation going in your extremities.A great spot for photography and a great spot to reset your soul and remind yourself how big nature really is.At this location my group noticed a punctured tyre and after my group changed to our spare wheel, multiple caravaners approached us to help repair our punctured tyre.This space attracts people of all kinds, caring people and everyone alike!

Very nice plece to see. But it is prohibited to enter to lake and fine $2500. limited facilities are there but some people are camping there .

Lake Hart Rest Area
A very interesting Salt Lake we saw it at sunrise and sunset and it’s just beautiful with the sun on it. We also saw the way the wind blows the water in and out. In the evening we had no water, It was at least a kilometre away and in the morning the water was right up within a couple of hundred metres of the Rest area. The rest are is basic With no amenities but solid ground and Well worth a stop for an overnight.

Great view from both the rest area and also down the salt lake. But don't do it in the middle of the day, it's gonna be very hot and hundreds of fly will attach you if you don't have a bug net.
