Hargreaves Hill Brewing Co.

One of the best small brewers in Victoria. The ESB is in my top 5 favorites. The RIS is another cracker of a beer. The food at the brewery is good hearty fare. Does lack a bit of flavour. It's all in the beer instead. Definitely my favourite place for lunch in Yarra Glen.

I've been an avid fan of the craft breweries for some time now and I've tried many craft beers including those interstate. I think I've found the 'Holy Grail' of craft beer. Not only are there many excellent craft beers to select from at Hargreaves Hill Brewing Co, but also the online customer service is (delivery) prompt. Cheers to Andrew & his team for providing genuine 'Customer Service'.

We have eaten here a few times and on each occasion we have been impressed with the food and service. We have been with a small party of 4 and a party of 17We enjoyed dining with the larger group as we were in a private dining area with an open fire place. Very private and intimate setting.The food has surprised me each time we have been there! The first time we went, I was delighted to see the menu and even better then that, the 4 of us all thought the food was exceptional.The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. With a larger party they catered to our needs.Q: Would I recommend this to family and friendsA: Yes, this won't be the last time we eat there with friends and family :)

Had a great time with the hubby here. Plenty of options for beer to try but really in the end would have only taken home the gen x pale ale. Still a fun experience.The bartender that served us, Lucas, was ace. Chatted away with us most of the night and put up with me. I think I'm hilarious after a few.Meals were a bit pricey but when you see the serving size there are no regrets, we left bellies full.All in all very happy and would drop in again here. Only suggestion is that some cool tunes play in the background, it was a bit lacking in ambience.

The food was great.The wait staff were great. Very helpful, brought toys for the children, tended to the fire, and could do no more.Sounds great so far. Why 3 out of 5.Our whole experience was ruined by the wanna be bearded" hipster at the front bar where we had to settle the bill. Unhelpful

Great beer, ok burgers but at $24 you're in excess of some of Melbournes best burgers and to be fair they would give you traditional chips and not one... Yes one greasy onion ring.The staff are great, friendly and attentive which is why I still gave a decent rating.

Good food, good beer, and very nice ambience and friendly staff! 10/10 would recommend. We had the pulled pork burger, Angus beef burger and fried chicken. All were our favourites. Definitely would go back again!

Really nice menu.. beautiful fresh food. Salmon was amazing and if you are a chocolate fan you have to try the Brownie with icecream and Salted caramel sauce - very rich, very sweet so maybe share with someone else! Great variety of beers and the stout had amazing coffee hints. Beer paddle gives you the perfect taster of them all.. definitely book ahead as it's a busy place!

Cute little restaurant with lots of little rooms. When it’s cold they light fires for you. Hearty country menu of burgers, steak, tacos and more. I had a medium rare steak which was cooked to medium but it was still delicious. Steak comes with tasty truffle fries and generous portions of mustard and onion jam. A few of the dessert options looked amazing but some were sold out. I had this pear tart with icecream which was a lovely.

Great all around experience, best chicken burger I can ever remember having which I was surprised about after waitress recommended and convinced us to try instead of our original order of fish and chips. Little bit of a wait but worth the wait, communication between our tables waitress on her first shift was exceptional, she accommodated the kids with toys and activity books so we could all relax and enjoy the day. Service was second to none and Beer was terrific, hipster barman couldn't have been more knowledgeable about every aspect of beer and happy to have spent the time to educate our party about what we were tasting. We will book our next function at this wonderful tucked away little secret of Yarra Glen.
