Oscar's on the Yarra
We spent two nights at Oscar's on the Yarra with a group of friends. What a wonderful experience. We loved the setting with extensive patio/deck areas overlooking the river. The beautifully appointed lounges were so inviting and perfect for our group to just sit and chat. Christine, Brian and Cathy were such wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble, and by the end of the stay we felt part of the family. This place was so special - such a welcoming, relaxing environment, delicious breakfasts, and such luring views - not just the river, but the many beautiful trees at their peak autumn colours.Although the bedrooms were a bit small, they were very clean and provided very comfortable, king-sized beds.Our group felt this was such a special, welcoming place. we all felt keen to return in the future.

So relaxing, the location was just incredible, next to the Yarra. We enjoyed a bottle of sparkling wine from a local winery on the balcony. Breakfast was beautiful with visits from the local kookaburras on the terrace.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend away. It is a fantastic place. Beautiful setting by the Yarra, with a warm, relaxing, homely feel. Christine is a wonderful host, who works hard to look after all the guests needs. We are keen to stay again

Had a wonderful weekend at Oscars. Beautiful location, very comfortable room with view of the river. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend staying here and plan to return again soon. Thank you Christine and Family

Oscar's on the Yarra
Just spent a long weekend at Oscar's with my extended family, and loved it! Location is great, rooms are nice, and the common areas are terrific - really warm and cosy in a chilly late Autumn.As others have said, breakfast is great too - freshly cooked and plenty of it.The best thing about Oscar's though is the service - Christine, Cathy, Brian and Bennett simply can't do enough for you and they make you feel fantastically welcome! We loved staying here and we'll be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Oscars! Absolutely stunning location. I was lucky enough to be given a room with a bath after a day of clearing the local area to assist with fire/flood resilience. This was so appreciated. Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay! I will be back.

Oscar's on the Yarra
From the moment we walked in we were impressed. Christine greeted us with a smile and was so inviting. A gorgeous location, had everything we needed. The included breakfast was delicious and generous servings with really nice coffee and freshly squeezed juice. We spent some time upon checkout just sitting and admiring the surroundings which are beautiful. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again. Thank you again Christine for a lovely experience and stay.

We loved our stay at Oscar’s and can’t recommend it enough!The hotel is beautiful, clean and super comfortable. We loved the location just outside Warburton. Great to explore the area while enjoying the peace and quiet!Thank you Christine, Cathie and everyone. You were lovely and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable.

Our two night stay at Oscar's on the Yarra extremely enjoyable. Christine and Cathie were incredible hosts, both welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble, while the breakfasts were delicious, with eggs cooked to perfection. We can highly recommend it for a relaxing weekend away.

Oscar's on the Yarra
In late June I took my elderly parents to Oscars for a country break and to celebrate my father's birthday.The peaceful river setting, attractive period style of the building, the comfortable guest lounge with open fire, and large dining room for a hearty breakfast were all drawcards. However the wheelchair access bedroom/bathroom made the stay both possible and practical for my parents. Not every country hotel can offer these facilities.Christine and her family were delightful hosts and very accommodating of our wishes. We can thoroughly recommend Oscar's for a most enjoyable short break in Warburton.
