I mean the food was okay (most probably not to repeat the experience) but I had higher expectations as per the rating. The quality of meat was really disappointing. Definitely overpriced!The service is very good.

Food was delicious and perfectly cooked, but the portions to cost are highly exaggerated. We got the 10 - 12 mighty moo meal with 14 people, and we added 6 additional sides to buffer it out.When all was said and done, it ended up being well over $1000, and no one was satisfied or full.Staff were lovely, and the food tasted great, but got that price you could get a lot more and feed more people.

I took my friend for her birthday to this restaurant and was highly impressed. We went without reservation but could find a table for lunch without waiting times. The food was mouth watering, and so tender, I love it. We had a shared platter for 2 choosing the brisket and pastrami, I preferred the brisket and my friend the pastrami. I gave them 4 in service as I could tell they were short staff, so we needed to be following on things, but the 2 people who attended us were so apologetic and genuinely tried to make us have the best experience. I will be back for sure.

This places beef is amazing. Service was phenomenonal. Staff really went above and beyond. Very impressed. Great job team. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Brisbane :)

I came here with my family and it was the best smoked meat I’ve ever tried, my father in law was amazed by the taste of the meat and the differences between them and he had tried lots of them. The team was amazing and so thoughtful, thank you so much!!!See you soon!!!

Great service and great food. Met both the owners, Winsley and her partner. Winsley offered us great service and explained the menu. She wasn’t wrong in her recommendations, we had the dirty dozen mini and beef cigars. We will definitely be back!

Went to celebrate two birthdays.Five of us mixed it all up with two double platers and a few entrees.Worked out really well.Great food.The ladies loved the cocktails.Friendly, helpful staff.Will return.

If you are looking for a quality steak house in newstead this is your go to place. The owners do a terrific job running this venue. All their meat is from local suppliers, high quality Australian beef. Plenty of beautiful meat cuts to choose from. The customer service is terrific. There is plenty of seating and the venue has a really nice vibe. You can see the chefs cooking which is really cool. Great place for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended to get down and support the local business. The beef ribs are also terrific definitely worth the money.
