Genius Childcare Wulguru

My kids were in kids in the village when all of a sudden we were left with a week to find a new centre due to it being sold. I went to the place that brought the centre with no room for both my kids. So I went to genius ,from the start they were welcoming and absolutely brilliant. I was so glad that some of the staff and other kids came across to genius it made it a smooth transition for all the kids. My kids love all the teachers at genius . I am so thankful that I am able to leave my kids in such good hands . Courtney and Kelli you are a great management team and your staff are fantastic

All staff are great. The old boss from kids in the village looked after my kids and she still does and she is amazing. Nurting and caring and a great team member. Would recommend this day care 100%

The staff are unfriendly towards kids and often leave children crying on the floor. Neglect nappy changes and the standard of the food is terrible. Avoid avoid avoid

Genius wulguru staff are amazing, very friendly, professional and accommodating. The service is clean and well maintained with the staff friendly and supporting.I am a single mother of 2 and the service welcomed my children when their day care centre closed abruptly. They supported them to transition positively.Could not recommend a better day care centre

We love Genius Wulguru. Our daughter is happy to be there, excited to see her friends and educators and always says she had a great day.

Disclaimer: Our little one was only there for a couple of months after shifting from a previous daycare that closed for renovation. We are thankful they took us on at such short notice.However, we were not happy with the service provided. Our little one never seemed to enjoy going there, she was in a room that was below her developmental needs and we became worried about the safety of the facility I.e concrete path eroded with rocks everywhere, too easy access to children from the car park with a gate that wasn’t locked. Plus it’s next to a busy road and across from a steelworks. The gardens also appeared unkept.Some of the staff appeared unfriendly and unwelcoming (sometimes we weren’t even acknowledged when we came in for drop off) with the exception of all the ladies that came across from Kids in the Village, and Jamie and Amanda.I also tried to contact the company a couple of times for admin and they never got back to us.We subsequently moved our little one to another daycare and she now can’t wait to go each day.

My Son has been going to Genius since he was almost 4 months old Monday to Friday with long hours. NOT once have i seen any kind of miss behaviour from staff, i could say a few things about some parents tho. My child loves coming to the centre he smiles as soon as he drives in the drive way. I would highly recommend taking the time to get to know all the staff as they are all wonderful, Like everyone we all have different opinion and you shouldn't have an opinion on a google review. In Townsville it is very hard to FIND a good DAYCARE. I will be highly recommending this centre to all my friends and family. I am no way affiliated with anyone at this centre, I just know how hard it is to find a fantastic centre.pros :the centre is CLEANstaff are friendly and caringnappies changes and food intake are always updated on the appchildren are always cleanlots of activities for children to doconsThe centre is all the way out to Wulguru ( still worth the drive )OLD STAFF CAUSED TROUBLE FOR THE CENTRE - thankful

If I could give less than 1 star I would.

I have grandkids and the staff are always friendly. Very clean and supportive. The staff are very responsive and caring to all the children. I would recommend people check the centre out for themselves.
