I can't seem to go past this shop without buying something! Always a great range of clothing, jewellery, and accessories with a focus on beautiful textiles and higher end labels.

Customer service was fantastic! So lovely and helpful. As usual full of great quality pieces and great prices too. Always love our trips out!

Every time I visit Material Pleasures I find something I can’t resist. The quality is always good, looking like new, and the prices even better! The staff are friendly and helpful, and clothes are arranged so it is easy to find your size in different categories. This morning I bought a winter jacket ($65) and a woollen jumper ($40). I’m sure I saved at least $200.

I absolutely LOVE this store! The staff are super nice and very helpful, the clothes are in a great condition and you can always find a bargain. Definitely worth visiting.

LOVE this store - I always find unique, high quality pieces that I'm very happy to add to my wardrobe. Staff are friendly and helpful which make shopping at Material Pleasures really fun! It's also so great to do something nice for the environment, by recycling fashion and giving a second life to clothing!

Want to buy cute clothes but not give money to fast fashion? Have cute clothes you don't wear often enough, but think someone else might love? Material Pleasures is the place you need - they have a great range of mid-to-high end preloved fashion, and also buy preloved clothes in good condition. I've bought and sold from here, and can confirm the staff are lovely and I've found some great stuff! Plus, you're shopping sustainably so it's a win-win.

NO STARS!!This business is IMO very shonky as I took several quality designer garments for assessment - 5 were accepted some NWTs and I was offered $30 for 5 quality designer items!! When I went to collect the rest of the ‘unacceptable items’ I noticed another garment of mine was on display!! I challenged the assistant that the displayed item was actually mine AND had not been part of the 5 described ‘jackets’ that were deemed ‘acceptable’, she quickly grabbed the garment out of my hands and practically accused me of lying about ownership. I was gobsmacked.Warning: ladies or gents… do NOT take your garments to this shop! They do not itemise what they are buying from you and IMO are evasive in their descriptions via their measly offers over a short vague text message, hoping you won’t remember what you sent hence getting more and mixing up items whilst paying peanuts. I will never return to this shop and I strongly advise anyone thinking of selling clothes to this shop to please think again. It was certainly a horrible, embarrassing and distressing experience for me today. 26.4.2023.Review by Kathleen H.
