Old bloke that works there is arrogant! First has a go about using my fuel cap to hold the trigger as petrol stations are fitted with an auto off once full and clicks off anyway. Then has the nerve to donate my change directly into the donations bin without my authority and has a go at me when I ask for it back, probably empties the tin into his own pocket. RUDE OLD GUY

Good range in store. Clean and tidy

They advertise as having pay at pump but it's not actually available. I drove out of my way specifically because I have a baby in the car. I fuelled up anyway and found their preset wasn't working so it went over.When I mentioned all this to the lady at the counter, she was kinda rude about it!

Good and convenient place for petrol stations

New Management is inconsistent and at times rude. Don't dare have any negative feedback, as it will quickly turn into an argument. Dodgy fuel pumps!.. let's pay top dollar for Air!. I wonder how much the fuel is watered down? The last few times have failed to see the same mileage compared to fuel from other service stations. Be cautious where you spend your money as fuel quality is definitely variable. On a positive note, this service station is one of the only in the area that has a reliable Air compressor for tyre pressure.

First time using this service station, public areas and instore was clean and tidy, handy for essentials like milk and bread and without extra mark up costs like other service stations.

I went lunch time Friday . My parents own servos I was a console operater. The young guy who had black earings had such good customer service skills that I will be coming back . God I love good customer service. Thankyou young console operater and to the owner . Give him a wage rise. He deserves it

Only one of the drying fans in the car wash worked. My spotless wash has half of my car is covered in spots. They told me they knew there was an issue with the car wash and we’re waiting for a technician but sold me a ticket for the car wash anyway, which is weird. No refund was given and palmed off to customer feedback line. Feedback line were really helpful. They’re sending me a $25 Caltex gift card which will cover what I spent on the wash plus change which is great. Won’t be going back to Caltex Star Mart Charlestown again anytime soon (not to be confused with Woolworths Caltex Charlestown, no problems there, it’s where I usually fill up, they don’t have a car wash though).

Very well run outlet with very courteous, friendly helpful staff. Being able to redeem Rewards from NRMA & Wooworths is also a bonus. # Worth a visit next time you need to refuel.
