Parma was great, staff and locals all very friendly. Got busy, but not too busy. Great atmosphere.

i’ve stayed here so many times over the years and always loved it, quite a few management changes during that time. The rooms are either budget (shared facilities) or you can pay a bit extra for ensuite. Meals always good , my only negative would be the dropping of the buffet breakfast as it was the highlight of staying here but I understand it is hard to have everything. Would recommend and definitely motorcycle friendly .

My band Drunken Ninja played there last night, and to say that he welcome we received from both the patrons and the owners and staff was excellent would be an under statement.. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough .. meals were so very good and generous as well as very reasonably priced .hopefully we will be back in the near future ..thoroughly enjoyed our stay....Do yourself a favour and definitely drop into The Golden Age on your way through Omeo

Excellent gem of the Alpine region. Food is delicious and simple (I tried to include some photos…). Couldn’t ask for a better find on the Great Alpine road.

Having stayed here dozens of times over the years we have always been happy with the value. Unfortunately now the value is not as good as it was. Your room no longer includes the cooked breakfast that was one of the attractions to stay here. Even the coffee and water station upstairs is no stocked with Milk and water. Staff were great just disappointed that what made this pub a great stay is no longer available.

Well it is a room above a pub. What would you expect? The double rooms are quite spacious however the walls are quite thin and you can hear everything. Located in Omeo it is central to everything in Omeo. The food however is actually something worth stopping by for. The vegetarian options that are not on the menu are good.

Golden Age Hotel
Went Friday night for dinner and had the best Chicken Parma and Garlic bread we have had in such a long time. The lady owner was so friendly and great to talk to. The kids also enjoyed their nuggets and chips. Highly recommend!
