Mason Falls is the nearest waterfall from home so we just had to see it. The picnic ground showed heavy weekend usage with several bags of rubbish remaining. The walk was very peaceful on a weekday morning and we arrived at the falls quickly. It was a fairly distant trickle but very scenic and serene. Recommended.

Beautiful waterfall hidden in Kinglake didnt even know it existed until we were looking for walking tracks near by. We were walking along the track and all of a sudden this massive gorge presents itself with a huge waterfall.Big drop down but amazing, we have been there a few times now and has many walking tracks that you can walk on as well.A few shorter tracks and some longer tracks through the bush and ones that go alongside the little river that runs through there.Great day out for the kids.

Excellent place to visit, easy access through regular road, Google maps plays a bit but signs are helping to get to the car park. Plenty of space for BBQ, tables etc, reasonably clean toilets. Easy walk to waterfalls, I'd say even wheelchair accessible. Definitely will revisit in spring while snow will start melting.

Masons falls viewing deck is located approximately 1.5 kms from car park.It’s a beautiful weekend spot to visit with friends or family. There’s a picnic area where you can have some home cooked food.Do wear warm clothes because it gets too cold when you walk down the forest.Note: There are toilets at the location.
