Beacon Lighting Taren Point

I’ve had the worst experience when picking up the lights I’d purchased. The customer representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. She also blamed her mistake on her colleagues who were actually helpful. Sadly I will never buy again from this brand.

Great range of stock for most indoor & outdoor lighting needs. The pricing was very reasonable but even more so with the Black Friday sale. I intended to buy only one light but walked out with two. Jay the sales assistant was excellent. She expertly explained the differences between various lights & wasn't shy about making some recommendations to us, which made a lot of sense. Overall, a very positive shopping experience. I will certainly be returning to this store for our future lighting needs.

Store clerk Victoria overcharged me and didn't want to refund the overcharged amount, it took an hour for her to refund the money only when other staff over heard what she was saying and corrected her. Poor customer service

Great range of diverse products, not just lighting.Knowledgeable and helpful staff

I have been to many Beacon stores over the last few years for work. Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Taren Point store. What a refreshing change - 3 staff all engaged with customers and overhearing their conversations all 3 were so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Then I was served by Kath. Nothing short of amazing in helping me select products and checking the specifications to make sure everything would meet my needs. It was service that I thought didn’t exist anymore. I couldn’t help but compliment two of the staff whilst Kath was retrieving my products. At which point I found out Kath was the Manager and her two staff spoke so highly of her. Well done Kath, the store is a credit to you and your team.

Potentially the worst customer service experience from numerous stores. The stock we were sent to pick up wasn’t in store, we were sent to 3 different locations which has been a massive stuff around. The young man called George from the Taren Point location was rude and dismissive and really needs some extra training on how to correctly speak to customers. When a lovely lady called Megan was trying to go over and above to help and correct a situation, George showed zero eye contact as he dismissed her suggestion to help out and spoke to me like I was an absolute inconvenience. Will definitely not be getting any more lights from Beacon.

Went in this afternoon to buy 7 fans after seeing adverts for amazing EOFY deals. There was 3 people working there, none of which could be bothered to help ( just chatting to each other behind the counter). After 20 mins looking at the display and waiting, I left and went around the corner to euro light. There I received great service and a killer deal (every cloud!)
