All three of my children started at just 3 I found it such a nurturing environment for my kids. The balance of tradition, sport and fun is just right. My kids are all now teenagers and I am grateful to each Sensei for their influence on them. All kids need a Bryan Sensei or a Rick Sensei in their corner!

Karate training at Noosa Dojo under Sensei Bryan's instruction is focused, energising, fun, good for the mind and soul. Sensei Bryan encourages you to do your best, which inspires you to do more. I love that some sessions are family orientated so that I can train with my daughter, and that other sessions are a bit more challenging so that I can meet my personal goals. I always leave the dojo feeling energised and inspired. Thank you sensei.

Highly recommended.... The best dojo, full stop. The Sensei always encourage you to become your very best self, whilst keeping humility and respectfulness paramount. My two boys (11yrs and 7yrs) have been attending two weekly classes for two years now. In that time I’ve watch them develop their physical skills, demonstrate their understanding and respect for Karate with passion and discipline. This is a reflection of the amazing Sensei instructors, their ability to build confidence in each and every person that steps onto the mat is so amazing to watch. Highly recommend

I consider Bryan Dukas Sensei to easily be one of the best Shotokan karate instructors outside of Japan, and find he is well respected by a number of prominent Japanese instructors too. If you're passionate about karate and want to improve yourself, Sunshine Coast Martial Arts is the best club to do so. I have been doing karate for ten years and have trained with him for three of those years. An outstanding team at SCMA!

We can’t speak highly enough of Bryan Sensei & his Dojo. The confidence, coordination and strength both of my children have gained over the last 5 years is amazing. Students are encouraged and nurtured by each and every Sensei to do their best in a safe, fun and caring environment. With an emphasis on courtesy & respect it has also been a wonderful place for our children to build friendships. We feel very lucky to be a part of this karate family! Oss.

Karate Noosa - World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation
Been around many good instructors for around 15 years in total. 19 years later I decided to rejoin after hearing great things about Sensei Rick and Sensei Brian. This is an amazing place to train and the technique standard and understanding of the techniques by the instructors is quite simply next level, seriously. Can't tell you how much I have learned in 5 lessons which is actually somewhat annoying as I wish I had been practicing those same correct basic techniques decades ago. Check out some of the youtube videos and decide for yourself I suggest.
