Star Car Wash - Birkenhead Point

Terrible experience. Paid $140 for a mini detail and it’s probably the worst car clean iv had. I took it back so they could fix it and the guy just walked round the car with a rag. Didn’t fix a thing. Scuffs on all the door jams, seats weren’t even wiped down, dust and dirt all over the accelerator and brake. I wouldn’t be as annoyed if it was a $50 wash but I feel like iv been taken for a ride here. I’ll try and post photos for reference. Don’t bother going.

Pretty shonky $65 wash and had a chat to the manager Ricky while I was there for some insight.One of the guys said “ thanks for the lazy job washing your car” as he handed me the keys.Let’s just say I’m not rushing back anytime soon.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the hard working Team at Star Car Wash Birkenhead Point. I was thoroughly impressed with their exceptional service and attention to detail. When I mentioned that I was planning to sell my car and I was going to upload the photos once they finished cleaning it, they went above and beyond to make sure my car looked as good as new. I was so impressed that I almost changed my mind about selling it.It was a bit dirty when I dropped it off. They thoroughly washed, polished, cleaned the tyres and mags. They vacuumed the interior, paying close attention to the dashboard and other hard-to-reach areas. It even smells new … I was blown away.I highly recommend Star Car Wash to anyone looking for an amazing car washing and detailing experience. Thanks so much!

Got the Platinum car wash and must admit they did a great thorough job cleaning my car. Recommend Star Wash.

Brought my car here for the Star Polish. Immediately tried to start up selling and tried to get me to pay for an add on that was already included in the Wash I wanted. When I got back, there was a lot of polish that hadn’t been properly wiped and hard to have an argument with one of the staff over this and point out all the items they had missed. After arguing for a bit they did eventually fix up the issues they had. The interior however wasn’t done correctly and dash still hard dust on it and glass had streaks. For a $100 wash I was pretty disappointed, especially having to argue with staff about the standard of the wash and them trying to fob me off and say I had no idea. Polish left smeared on paint and glass in random places isn’t correct. Wheels still had brake dust in the crevices, not sure what the ‘enhanced wheel wash’ actually involves.

When you pay $85 for a wash and polish of your car that’s what you expect.It’s so disappointing that when you pickup you car its still dirty, has water spots all over it, pickup that they have only polished part of the car and even left polish still on it.Spent Sunday cleaning the mess they left on the car.To be brutally honest, best to avoid all Star Car Washes.Over priced for the poor quality.

Slightly disappointed after paying $109 for a detailing service consisting of, car hand wash, interior vaccum clean & exterior hand waxed & polished.Had to get the owner to rewax & repolish the bonnet, as there were swirl marks left on it. In his defence, he promptly addressed the situation & fixed it. But as the business location is in a underground car park without enough light & the cars are parked tightly between other cars, to inspect properly after it's finished, is difficult. As such, I missed a few other things. No wax whatsoever on the roof of the car, I believe. Mag wheels left with brake dust, even after being washed & supposedly cleaned thoroughly. Door handles left with long downwards stops if unpolished wax & Worst of all, found out next day that the rear right passenger door card cover material, had been either vaccumed or scrubbed cleaned so hard, that it unglued itself, became loose & left like that. No explanation, no trying to fix it, nothing... Granted, I only discovered it later next day & made no complaint on it. But for a $109 'detail service', the return product is pretty lacklustre at best. Won't be going back. Don't recommend...

Scratches, chips and just so much damage. Yes my car is old but a little TLC and you won't cause damage. These guys must be super rough. Truly an awful car wash

Guy comes out with a torch and “inspects” the footwells and inside. $72 starting price for an SUV. Because your car is dirty, it will cost extra?!?!1) it was pretty clean for a dirty car. I would say the floor mats had some dried grass from getting in and out of the car. The seats were spotless. And the doors had dust since the last clean.2) I chose the wash that includes inside and out. You’d expect that for $72 right3) who brings a totally clean car to a car wash?
