Cooks River Paddle Trail

The Cooks River paddle trail takes you from Botany bay to Strathfield. Though the upper reaches of the river are more of a channel.Between the Bay and Steele Park the river is a beautiful paddle. There is also Wolli Creek and Muddy Creek.Closer to the bay there is a boat ramp so paddlers should be careful of boats and jet skis down here, especially on weekends.You can hire canoes and kayaks at Kendrick Park in Tempe.There are a number of access points to the river. Notably, Kendrick Park, the Canoe Club near Massey Park, and the kyeemagh boat ramp. Kendrick Park and the boat ramp have toilet facilities.Plenty of bird life to see. And fish jumping.
