Pickles Bricklaying

I recently had Ben Pickles from Pickles Bricklaying and his employers done a brick fence and retaining wall out the front and down the side of my older style house. With a huge help from Ben he was able match bricks so close with the rest of our house it was amazing. I was surprised how easy Ben made everything he organised the bricks, sand all the other materials they dug the footings done the concrete lated the bricks and at the end of the job he took care of the rubbish removal, Brick cleaning he even waterproofed the back of the retaining wall and backfilled it to we literally didn't need to do a thing it was great Everyone from Pickles Bricklaying was polite, professional and seemed to really take pride in there work I highly recommend Pickles Bricklaying and hope to be able to use them again on a project in the future.

From day one Ben was very professional and helpful, his team did an amazing job with the besser block retaining wall including foundation and nothing was too difficult. He even gave some advice what to do for finishes etc. Will definitely use his services again and highly recommended.

Great local bricklayerI had Pickles bricklaying work at my home 3 times; a small dwarf wall, a curved retaining brick & block wall and finished off with a unique set of brick stairs. We had some challenges on the stairs, in particular with the weather but Ben came through with the goods and all work was completed very well. It’s great to find local trades people in The Hills just like Ben. On top of this Ben also connected me with a great builder so I’m very happy all round. It goes to show that good trades people stick together.

Ben has just finished repointing the brickwork on the facade of our house in Naremburn. The end result is amazing, his attention to detail and concern for the final product really paid off. Ben is very easy to work with and genuinely wants to help. In an industry that is hard to find people to trust, Ben stands out. Very happy with the work done as part of our extension. We couldn’t get the same bricks to match (because they don’t make them anymore), but the boys experience and adaptability made the slight height difference (gauge!) unnoticeable. I hope I never do, but if I need a brickie in the future, I will call Pickles.

We recently added French doors to our house and needed a bricklayer to make the opening. Pickles Bricklaying did an incredibly professional job, keying out and replacing all the bricks necessary to create a perfect finish. You would never know that the opening wasn’t always there. They cleaned up thoroughly and took away all the debris as promised. We will definitely use Ben for any future brick or stone work. Thank you:)
