Telstra Armidale

Went in today to get a new phone as I can not do it online for some reason. Got told they would put me on the waiting que. the staff member told me it would be anywhere from 15 minutes to a 3 hour wait. After 3 hours still haven’t heard from them. Rang the store several times and only managed to get the answering machine. Very poor customer service

I tried calling telsta armidale 3 times this week about getting two mobile phones with plans for my business each time on one answering got the answering machine.So someone else has my business.

Trash service. Went in for advice on activating a SIM for a cellular Wi-Fi. Got told they didn’t have an appointment open for a week, but we do walk in’s. But that is at least 3 hour wait and was probably not possible today (1PM contact time). I got a call back at 5:00PM as they would have been undoubtedly closing, which I missed as I was traveling the hour back to my home in Glen Innes, which our local service center had closed for good over a year ago. I tried to explain that I was only in Armidale for a limited time and just needed a quick chat to sort it out and was told that so was everyone else and I shouldn’t get preferential treatment. I called Telstra and was told to go into the store, as the run around continued… Telstra likes to advertise it’s care for rural Australia but this was far from my experience.

Was served by a lovely man named Rami who provided exceptional customer service. The store also has a fantastic atmosphere.

Friendly staff but the store is massively understaffed. It's easier to see a doctor than it is to get a booking. No fault of the staff - it's the employer.

Worst customer service EVER !! Rude and aggressive attitude was the experience from the foreign worker who couldn’t speak English obviously it was his second language and when I sad to him why are you angry he went like a tomato as he was witnessed by many lol, then when I asked to speak to the manager she was worse than him stating they have no time for me and 2 people cancelled their appointments infront of me due to the staff behaviour !!The low reviews speak for themselves get your act together TELSTRA !!

Helpful staff, modern store. We won't talk about Telstra as a company - everyone has their own experience and opinions - but if you want a personal experience, I really recommend attending the store. Specifically, Blaine and Bray have been very helpful. Well done, guys!

Phoned the store and Rhianna helped me with easy and straight forward responses to my questions. It is clear she has excellent knowledge of their services and helped me work out the best option for my needs. Plus was happy to hold equipment for me until I could get into the store to finalise it. Well done Telstra Armidale.

Fair service, decent enough deals. But I found the staff to have their hands tied by company rules, background checks, etc. It meant they could be reasoned with, or be flexible in anyway. But I found the workers all quite polite.

My phone service has been disconnected even though I have a direct debit set up. Went into the store to see what the deal is. No help, not even a reason why it stopped working after years of having this account. Paid the bill friday morning, still no service sunday night. Tried to get help in store Saturday. The guy wouldn't even make the call to check if he could help. Then, literally going in circles on the my telstra app. Amazing they made automated customer service worse than in the store. Still no phone service.
