Richard, Bret, Jo, BJ, Kyle and the rest of the team are an outstanding team of repairmen/women- no, craftspeople that are nothing short of world-class. They've served me very well in reparing my clarinets, flute & sax, plus did a phenomenal job in doing minor customizations on my bass clarinets, notably making a custom RH thumb touchpiece with a roller on it, along with moving left pinky touchpieces & adding cork risers on the plateau keys. Among them Richard & Bret have extensive experience working at Howarth of London and among the legendary instrument repair community in Philadelphia respectively, and Bret has repaired the horns of living legends such as Grover Washington and Jeff Coffin among so many others, and Jo has extensive experience repairing various woodwinds in the years before. I very strongly recommend all woodwind and brass players in-and-outside Adelaide to go visit Consortium, it's truly an incredible place run by incredibly awesome folks, and I deem it THE No. 1 place for for woodwind and brass players worldwide to visit in SA(and among the top places Australiawide), even just for a marvel!!

Amazing service

Bret overhauled my 1972 Miraphone tuba recently - 40 years of touring and shows here and abroad had taken a toll. The horn is back to peak condition now, I'm very happy with the thorough and skillful work done.There's a reason this shop is busy - they do the best work in the Southern Hemisphere.

First time visiting this shop. Big shout out to Kyle who attended to my Mark VI soprano with great care and professionalism. Great range of products and accessories, also. I would not hesitate to recommend this team. Keep it up!
