Red Star Palm Beach | Gold Coast Hotel
Location is amazing, very easy walk to the beach. Older building and facilities, but everything is clean and functional and the room was quiet despite being close to the main road. Service was very good, we arranged to park our car before check in so we could go to the beach but when we arrived we were checked straight into the room. Will stay again.

Great location near the beach, Currumbin and walking distance to palm beach shops. The rooms here are very old (I think they’re renovating)but have what you need. Rooms have ac/heater, fridge, kettle, microwave and a tv. The queen bed was very comfy. They had upgraded us to a family room which was helpful since we have a kid. Staff go out of their way prior to coming to help with information, very communicative.

For the price, the room was fantastic and quite big! The staff are so so friendly and the atmosphere of the place takes you back to childhood. Pool is a plus too. Loved our whole experience. Would highly recommend to anybody down this way!

Fantastic location! Easy access from Brisbane and OOL. Directly across the way from the beautiful white sand Palm Beach and near the unmissable Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!We arrived in Brisbane from overseas and took public transit from the airport right to the hotel in time for an early check in to an upgraded room. (One comfortable train and one neighbourhood bus through ♿️ modern and accessible transit stations.)Extremely attentive family friendly service, this hotel is very well managed by Jason, his lovely partner, and their adorable daughter!Going out? Lots of shops and cafés within walking distance, as well as a Coles, bottle shop, and unlimited restaurants. Check out the Currumbin RSL, and the Palm Beach SLSC for good food and great service. I walked along the beach and went for a swim every morning we were there.Going a little further? Take state transit busses up and down Gold Coast Highway to many area tourist destinations. Buses are clean, safe, frequent, and reliable, but may be full when the area school lets out. We got transit cards on arrival at Brisbane airport and used them in Palm Beach and Brisbane.Going even further? Cars for hire at OOL (Gold Coast Airport) nearby will get you up and down the coast. Rent a sub compact if you’re not used to driving on the ‘wrong side’ of the road and take a scenic drive to Byron Bay for a picnic on the beach!Thanks again for the fantastic Aussie hospitality, Jason!

Jason and the team at Red Star Palm Beach were absolutely amazing! The hotel room was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The communication and customer service was excellent and very helpful.A great location at a great price! Couldn’t recommend Red Star Palm Beach any more.

Myself and my 5 children stayed 2 nights with Red Star. The apartment was clean and stocked with all crockery needed to cook for a family.Staff were lovely and very accommodating.Upon our departure Easter Sunday my children were gifted a small Easter gift. Myself and my children were very touched by the gestureThank you we will definitely return.

Excellent value for money! I had a budget room but it was quiet, really comfortable bed, spacious and clean. The bathroom had been newly renovated and it was great to have large containers of shower gel, shampoo etc instead of those tiny little tubes most motels have! The motel was close to beaches, walk trails, restaurants and the hospital (my reason for staying there). Represents the best value for money of motels and resorts on that part of the coast. Only minor criticism was that the pool hadn’t been cleaned!

I had the pleasure of staying here for a night and cannot fault the service or the rooms. Fantastic rooms for the price - large rooms. Pool was fantastic. Staff were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I will be staying here again and will be recommending to anyone after great quality accommodation on the Gold Coast.

Perfect place for our girls weekend. Jason and the staff could not have been more helpful. 10/10 customer service. Great value for money. Beds clean and comfortable. Living space in the apartment was extremely roomy. Well appointed kitchen and large fridge. Easy parking.

Service is amazing, the price is affordable and the beds are surprisingly comfortable! The water meter in my room was beeping so I let them know and was moved to a different room straight away. Will definitely come back if I need to be in the area!
