Lancemore Macedon Ranges

Had my wedding here in January. Asked for roaming food and drinks, was surprised to see that they served a buffet (5 hours after the wedding started). We had people stay the Friday and Saturday nights and they didn't clean the rooms at all - including the bridal suite. Didn't check with the couple when other people would make decisions. They threw the wedding cake directly into a gabage bag directly in front of guests, including the person who made it. Terrible communication. Don't do it. Run, run far away.

We had a 2 business conference here and virtually everything went well from beginning to end. Food was lovely and the set-up was nice. Staff worked hard. Minor criticism was that my mattress wasn't that special but the room was nicely updated recently and warm on a wintry night.

Attended a 4 day work conference here - beautiful location, wonderful and friendly staff and great amenities. Room was comfortable, only thing the rooms did not have a fridge. Such a lovely atmosphere especially coming into winter with the cosy fireplaces and fire pits outside.

Venue was stunning, most staff were incredibly friendly, however be very careful that you actually get what are told when you initially tour the venue on your wedding day. We were told while we were getting bridal party photos that they would bring us food and drinks, that did not happen and when asked they said they don't usually do that. We were told we can use the sound system in the reception hall with just a phone that can plug right in. On the day we found out no one had ever used it before and basically it does not work. They did not think to test it out although we had always said right from that start that we weren't having a DJ or band. They were telling my bridal party who were trying to help the venue to get the music going, that they had emailed me asking me to download an app" and I had never replied which was a flat out lie. Also said "I told her she should use a DJ"

My husband and I got married at Lancemore Macedon Ranges on January 23rd, 2022. We had postponed 5 times due to the pandemic and finally had our day.The venue was incredible, the ceremony location everything i wanted and anticipated it to be and the staff were very attentive and lovely. The food tasted awesome and we heard compliments throughout the day including a brother who tried all alternate drop meals and he loved them.Bianca was our wedding coordinator and through changes in staff she held onto us so that we didn't have to keep reorganising and communicating things for our wedding. She was absolutely incredible and we got a long from the get go. She made everything run perfectly!Due to the pandemic and changing hours communication was sometimes hard but whenever we spoke on the phone we got everything organised as we went.Regards,Tayla and Bruno Tassoni

Perfect place for a retreat, with comfortable accommodation, beautiful surrounds and delicious food.

Attended for a two day conference and paid top price for pretty ordinary accommodation. The rooms are like small motel rooms with no bar fridge. They had the winter doona on the beds despite it being middle of February and look tied and dated.The centre generally is very tied in desperate need of a paint job, new furniture and equipment.Drinks at the bar our outrageously priced with a local beer that retails at $2.5 they charged $16.Finally the booking system was a complete farce it took multiple phone calls and emails over many months to actually make the booking and then when they did they sent the invoice to the wrong address.Only saving light were the staff were nice and friendly and did apologise for the over the top pricing.Don’t know what it is like for a wedding but for a conference, sure there are better options.

I was the saxophonist and guitarist/singer for a beautiful wedding here in March 2023.The canapés room was stunning and the main room was big enough for a sit down dinner and big dance floor area (which makes musicians very happy).The view is amazing and gives guests a good space away from the dance floor but not too far away to miss their fav tunes!

Nice location for a wedding from start to finish. Beautiful outlook. Food was great. Lots of accommodation for guests which was very convenient. I’m not sure why the suites are listed for $450 per night. We paid for the convenience but after seeing the room, it was on par with motel rooms we’ve stayed in for $150. We couldn’t see a list of room inclusions on the website so really had no idea if we’d have an iron and hairdryer but luckily we did. The ironing board was old and kept collapsing so just ironed clothes on the carpet. For future guests reference you have a kettle and fridge (in the suite rooms) but no toaster or microwave and only one bedside table. Some guests didn’t have a fridge in their room so it must depend on the room type. For us, we were only staying for a dinner and breakfast meal time which were both supplied with the wedding and accommodation so in room cooking facilities weren’t required. The buffet breakfast and flat white coffee was good. Lisa was nice to deal with.
