Public House Petersham
The chicken was cooked well. Soft and tender and the crumb was not burnt so that’s good the sauce was good but a bit flat but nice. The provolone cheese was a good choice maybe a little more would be good.The chips were fresh and hot with a little of their own seasoning. A win.The rocket salad with a little olive oil was the let down.But a good size feed.A good time was had by all.Four out of five plates cleaned.

Quite expensive ($26 for a parmy). Small portions. I think they had a bad night in the kitchen because the pizza was like a little kid had made it. Bland and messy.

Public House’s pizzas used to be some of the best in the inner west. Unfortunately the last few times we’ve gone they’ve been no better than a frozen pizza. The dough sucks and they’re tiny. Also sad to see the tap beer offerings have changed to the usual stuff you’d see in any other chain pub. Great pub, but they need to sort these issues out.

Nice pub and restaurant with a homely feel. Kids meals (kids pizza and burgers) were awesome and affordable. I had the pork belly with lentils which was good. The popcorn chicken was also a hit with the kids. Nice selection of local craft beer. We will be back!

The food is decent, there's a good atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if we were there on an especially busy/short-staffed night, but the lines to order food and drinks were really long, which meant you'd be away from your mates for 10+ minutes just getting a beer. Feels like they need a few more people behind the bar.

Went to the Public House for the first time on a weekday. My experience was just okay, beer offering on tap was kinda limited, with lots of very similar styles on the night I visited.We ordered a pizza, which was a bit skimpy on the toppings.The space is nice tho, large beer garden

Great local pub for pizzas, beer, natural wines and most importantly DOGGOS! lovely large outdoor area with undercover seating too. They host awesome events regularly

There is so much to love about this place. Large, mostly sheltered, outdoor space with laid back vibe. A separate Batch brewery 'R&D' area with great beers on tap. Unfortunately the food we had was a big let down. Our group was one of the first to arrive and the place was mostly empty. We waited about 30 mins to get our pizzas, and unfortunately they were very bland.Would still be happy to come back for a few drinks, but probably won't try the food again.

Bad food, bad atmosphere, ok selection of drinks, the place is usually.going to be full for.some function or another and the staff will treat you like you don't matter, food is overpriced and subpar
