Dr Glen Croft is one of the most professional and compassionate GPs we have met, very thorough with me and my children's assessments and gives unbiased honest advice. Consults are never rushed and worth the wait. Absolute gem. The reception team are friendly and nurses are lovely with kids. Great surgery.

Should have reviewed my last review before rebooking and I wish I could do 0 stars. What a joke Como gp!! I remembered when I got here last time waiting over an hour with an appointment first thing in the morning and that should have been a warning for today's appointment. 915 appointment and an hour later am still not in my appointment. Will not be coming here ever again. It might be close but waiting an hour is not convenient, very ride and disrespectful! If I was that late to my appointment I wouldn't be allowed in and it should be common courtesy for the same from the doctors and staff. Will not be rebooking or ever coming here again and would recommend anyone else who is not a fan of hour long waits to reconsider.

Been coming for five years now and have always been treated well. Much like every medical service, there are wait times when emergencies arise. Set aside extra time in your day just in case. The pathology team are very gentle and it’s so convenient to have my bloods done straight after an appointment.

The service I have received on multiple visits to Dr Croft over the past week has been second to none. The new practice is inviting and supported by wonderful staff.

I don’t get it.. the wait time in this practice is absolutely horrendous. I came today with my elderly father and there was only one person in the waiting room (mid-week, late morning appointment). We finally got to see Dr Lee after a 40 minute wait. This is unacceptable - I will never come back here and will be finding a new doctor that have a sense of time management and behave with some degree of professionalism.

Could not manage a business any worse.Avoid this practice at all costs unless you have all day to wait for incompetent providers who cannot keep time.Never on time. No care given.Disgrace

Great medical advice but always continually behind schedule (average time was 45min to 1hour). We stopped going to this clinic as too hard for our children to be in waiting room for long periods of time.

Dr Croft is excellent and a leader in his field. If he wasn't I would run a mile. The rest of the operation resembles the keystone cops. I continually get txts saying i need to book a care plan appointment and when I do they tell me nobody can help me but a nurse will ring me back...they never do. An endless round and round in circles till I run of of medications and have to kick up a fuss....very stressful mob to deal with.

Booked in to see Dr, Glen Croft as a new patient since we just moved into the area. Arrived on time and was told to take a seat, no mention if there were any delays or emergencies. After waiting for 40min I asked the front desk how much longer it would be. Got a you're next"answer. No customer service of any sort

After some really horrible GP experiences when my son was first born I was so pleased to have found Dr Dowsett at Como GP. She was friendly, professional, actually listened to me and gave great advice. Plus they bulk billed which for me as a single parent was wonderful.However after going in recently to have an injury looked at (and without any warning whatsoever,) I was charged for a consult. I queried this to reception, explaining that i was under the assumption I was bulk billed. Upon talking to Dr Dowsett next i was informed that its up to the doctor to charge or bulk bill as they choose. And that she could not tell me whether i would continue to be bulk billed or not. I explained that finances are extremely tight and i would have to switch doctors if this was the case.She agreed to bulk bill me once more to give me the results of a scan on my injury.After this most recent phone call i most definitely will not be returning to Como GP.As soon as Dr Dowsett found out i could not pay for consults her attitude completely changed. Gone was the friendliness and smile, instead i was made to feel awful for even making this last consult.I was repeatedly guilted for not being willing to pay and just generally made to feel really bad.I actually just feel like crying at the thought of this experience.I would advise Como GP to be upfront about their charging policies and perhaps try to have some basic communication about it... and please dont make patients feel bad because they are poor.It’s honestly disgusting.If someone had explained this to me at the start i would have simply picked another doctors to attend.A shame as a few of the other doctors weve seen (when had to attend last minute) have been lovely.
