Keens Truck Driver Training

My driving instructors where absolutely amazing and so helpful but the admin staff where absolutely appalling and straight up rude. People like this should reconsider being in customer service. Not to mention the truck I was driving the air conditioner was not functional and it was a extremely hot day so it was pretty much unbearable. I would not recommend Keens to anyone mainly for the absolutely horrid experience I had with the few personnel on the front desk. You should be ashamed of yourself

My husband was set up for a fail, very unprofessional when the instructor did not give my husband any feedback & still let him sit the test when he knew he would fail. Course advertised as 2 days when its hardly a full day. No feedback just wanting to rebook for more money. Very disappointed if you advertise as a course & charge that cost but then not support your customers to achieve to pass. Also much more professional if they need more lesson instruct them of this before failing. You ruined our day & our holiday as we had come from perth and payed for accomodation also.Editted# since you respond but not allowing me too you, ill write it here! We understand your mention of not cancelling the practical test, but your incorrect with time jamie spent total 7 1/2 hours driving! your instructor never said he needed more time to practice or gave any feedback either written or verbal it was only when jamie query our follow up that he was given this? Perhaps if the instructor had spent less time on his phone & looking out the window & communicated this the miscommunication would not have occurred. Then to try to rebook him and take more money wasnt in the clients best interest was it! Take the constructive feedback & try to improve i see alot of comments here complaining of same thing. I only wrote this so others wouldnt full into same expense & misunderstanding.We have decided to get more lessons which is what we could of done earlier if known or been instructed too by YOUR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR!

I had Vic for my HR and MC training. Great bloke very knowledgeable and easy to understand when giving directions.Cheers

Admin staff where helpful and polite sorting out my booking and paperwork promptly and professionally. The trainers did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable behind the wheel and gave great insight into the skills required which really took the stress and nerves away from the assessment. A great experience all round.

Went here a while back to get my MR licence. The office staff were very welcoming and nice, making the sign up process a breeze. I had Brian as my driving teacher and he was ok, but I got yelled at for making little mistakes and was overall pretty rude, very little patience for me. Ended up passing the driving test with a really good test instructor at the Bunbury DOT.

Completed my HR-A course with Keens Truck Driving and it was an awesome experience and i will be recommending you guys to everyone that needs your services in the future. Went into the course with zero experience and had a great and very knowledgeable trainer Dillon, super friendly, made me feel very comfortable and gave very constructive feedback! Same goes with my assessor Vic, very down to earth and welcoming which was a great way to feel before an assessment! Thanks again guys! Great job!

Had 3 Trainers over 2 days which was a very good way to pick up a variety of skills. The Trainers were all polite and professional. The office staff werehelpful and friendly. I was surprised at the distance allowed to gain an allround driver training experience. Happy customer.

The most unprofessional service I’ve ever dealt with, there is a floor in there contact that they have a 7 day policy for a refund.AND does Not stipulate“ 7 working Business DAYs “Yet there website advertises they are closed on a Saturday and a Sundayso how can anyone ring and cancel….. ?So I give them 5 days from Monday morning and they won’t grant a refund because of contract.Then the after that the treatment of customer service is appalling.The emails back and forth from All 3 women are laughable and can’t give you a straight answer because contract does stipulate 7 working days..!( in the wrong)They had plenty of time to fill my 1 hour spot ..!So instead of looking after their customers , they carry on unprofessionally Rob you off your money and are just miserable people..!SO if the contract and website has since changed, it just goes to show they were in the wrong and just malicious and CROOKs ..!PERTH is cheaper anyway..!!

2/7/18 got my HR license through this mobDid the Day course and by the end of the day didn’t want to get out of the truck!Dean and Brad gave clear instructions and a zero tolerance for stupidity outlook while also allowing me to feel comfortable behind the wheel and not causing nerves!This is the place you need to go if your looking for the right training and the level of experience needed to operate a truck.5 stars easily
