Great Boxing Day venue. Cold drinks and cold aircon. The share plate lunch was fantastic. The only problem was the 300 meter walk back to my motel. It was bloody hot

My favourite bistro / bar in Queanbeyan. Excellent atmosphere. Friendly staff. The refurbishment looks great. Plenty of on-street parking. Great food. Lots of big screen TVs. Large gaming and TAB area. COVID-Safe policies aren’t in place here. This facility operates like a club - so make sure you bring your ID. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Every TV was on a cage fight with children in the venue. No TAB showing in the punters area and the sound system was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. Staff would not respond to requests to vary the tv shows or volume. Left quick smart.

A bit of an old-style RSL pub. Food is ok, the usual parma and hot chips. Alcohol is fairly priced. Offers gambling (keno, horse tipping, etc).

I have, over the years eaten at many restaurants good and bad. Queanbeyan has many of the latter and very, very few of the former.I was by chance to dine at this club on Sunday 17/7/16 for lunch with my daughter. My overall opinion - do not miss this place - fantastic !From the start, the service at the bar was impressive - efficient, cheerful and given that we were dining, our drinks were even brought to our table by the very amicable bar manager. (He even anticipated another glass of iced water for my daughter! - how's that!)Then lunch. We ordered the 'Sunday Roast' and expecting the typical - club over-cooked meat and soggy vegetables with Gravox. I am delighted to report that it was nothing like that and was absolutely brilliant. There was plenty of it and everything was delicious, gravy outstanding, chicken awesome and the five (yes 5) assorted vegetables were terrific - this not to mention the great waiter service and delivery time.I really can't wait to try the rest of the menu.Get down there to this club, you will not be disappointed.Credit where credit's due. (this is not a paid reference) Cheers MB

Needed to become a club member to dine ($5). The much advertised $8 schnitzel deal only included the schnitzel and chips. had to pay extra for salad, veges and gravy.Long wait in queue, and then after another long wait got the wrong meals delivered - the schnitzel tasted OK, but the veges were barely lukewarm, and the chips looked like they were from the bottom of the barrel. Will not be going back, suggest try another venue such as the Queanbeyan Leagues Club, The Royal, or the Top Pub

Dropped in with my partner and 2 children, my nieces and brother-in-law recently. On arrival old mate at the bar adamantly tells us that the 4 children (between 6-8) aren't allowed on the lounges or in the lounge area (note there are no poker machines here). We are directed to an area beyond the lounges where we sit down and have our drinks. One of our kids points to the nearby tv where the club has kindly put on cage fighting in the children's area". There's no cage fighting in the "grown ups lounge".It's this moronic nonsense that will ensure we will not be going back to the Bowlo any time soon......."
