I had a few items I went into Dad and Dave's to see what I can get for it and they tried to low ball me big time. I had items that were worth $290.00+ used and they offered me just $30.00. I understand that they need to make money and I understand that you won't get what you paid for it but to low ball a potential customer to the point where you will make a 110% return on the items is way to far. Lucky for me I'm experienced it utilising Pawnbrokers and I went in knowing how much my items were actually worth. I suggest that all customers check what their items are worth used before you go into any hoc shop.

Got offered $200 for a Yamaha dm1000 that sells for $3000 on eBay. If you want to be completely ripped off by people who don’t seem to know what they’re doing then this is the place for you! Unless they do know what they’re doing and are ripping you off on purpose. Anyway, definitely don’t recommend.
