What was once a dog park has been turned to a wasteland.The local council does not care for this park, and the entirety of the space is dirt and dog waste. The grass is worn away and dead, and the equipment and features of the park are in disgusting condition .None of the local residents seem to care about it either- not picking up after their dogs and allowing their big dogs into the area for smaller pets- When confronted, people seem to use excuses.The quality of the park is not fit for humans or canines- its environment of dirt and sand is an ideal breeding space for fleas and big dogs in the small dog area make it unsafe for smaller breeds.

They are two sectioned off dog areas here. Google maps took us to the amateur football club which is a few hundred metres away but it was only a few minutes walk to get here.Both dog sectioned off areas are in a hill ( if your dog prefers flat areas) but it’s nice to let them off the lead knowing they can’t get too far away!There is a dog water fountain too ( at the top of the hill) so hydration is not far away! Plenty of trees for shade and a seat for the humans too!A kids play area is situated about 80 metres away if you have kids and there is a bbq there too!

An amazing place to have a picnic because a barbecue is available to be used nearby and to bring your dog. The dog park is always filled with dogs and water is provided. Outside of the dog park is a lake and people walking their dogs, if a leash is not necessary then it is allowed to be let off. A playground is nearby for children to play.

Great area for dogs to play, run and dig. I’ve been using this for over a year and found pets and owners to be lovely. It would be great to have night lights especially now with the sun setting early.

Carine Enclosed Dog Park
I love Carine Open Space and much of the suburb but felt very threatened by people who brought large dogs into the small dog area. Our dog was previously abused and so was afraid of anything larger than his own size, and some owners do nothing to stop their massive hound from refusing to take their nose away from our little boy. I don't want to have to argue or fight with someone over being a responsible dog owner. It's so disappointing to drive down, only to find the small dog area often crawling in large dogs and have to immediately leave. It is designed to be a safe space.Please be considerate of other people, and their beloved dogs!

Perfect enclosed dog park with two separate enclosed areas, one for dogs and one for karens poodles. I don't understand the negative reviews lol. There's fresh water too
