In Clovelly, a new patisserie, boulangerie and gelateria has opened in a cute little spot not far from the beach.It was opened by world renowned and award winning pastry chef Yves Scherrer who is an experienced pastry chef that has worked all around the world. He began in France but has also worked in Canada and the USA. In Australia he’s worked at Kisume, Sake, Sokyo, Est., Ananas and Le Cordon Bleu to name a few. He brings this knowledge and experience to his own pastry store.There’s beautiful signature eclairs, tarts, cakes and some savoury options too. The buttery croissants and breads are amazing, and flavours will be seen to change. On our visit, in addition to the original croissant, they had pain au chocolate, almond croissants and a raspberry filled one.We enjoyed a lovely vegan vegetable terrine, as well as a beef bourguignon pie and coffee!You can also buy larger cakes and tarts to take away for parties.There’s also house made gelato!We like the decor with its white tiling and touches of pastel pink, and all the patisserie goods visible in the class counter.It is a great place to enjoy a treat and the service was excellent too.

This is only a review for takeaway coffee and baguettes. Firstly the coffee was excellent, not sure what beans are used but the flavour stood out and was well made. Unfortunately we struggled to eat the baguettes (both plain and sourdough) as they were incredibly tough even though they tasted nice.

I came here for eating from Brisbane.M&Y was my breakfast. That pastries was awesome! I bought some one’s recommends, everything was so good! My best is croissant!!

We bought takeaway pastries from Madame & Yves, they were delicious. The lemon meringue and pear frangipane tarts were not too sweet which we enjoy a lot. Will be back to try other items.

I discovered this wonderful patisserie the night before visiting and I find myself yearning for more. It’s delicious, authentically French and have skilled staff who can make great coffee and describe the food accurately. Many locals visit this place so you’ll be pressed to get a seat with only 4-5 tiny tables but it’s worth it!!
