Waited at the rear service desk, where I was told to go to purchase items by other staff members who were standing around talking, to be told by the lady at the desk to go to another desk, as she was talking to ‘someone she hadn’t seen in years’. There was one male staff member walking around trying to help people, everyone else seemed quite happy avoiding customers. Will happily go to Myers from now on.

customer service is far from impressive, instead the two ladies in the menswear section prioritise price stickers and codes over serving someone thats visibly waiting in line for assistance. Even after making eye contact with one (sandy blond hair, navy t-shirt with white writing) still continued to do her own thing.

David jones Maroochydore has lost it spark since they shut down the cafe should reopen it would bring back customers. Went in there today to get a few things no sales people anywhere to found them all at the makeup counter talking a few of them were rude. They used to be friendly, happy to help it’s sad what is happening with this don’t care any more.

Absolutely atrocious service. Woman in shoe department had no response to me asking about why price online differed to in-store.All she could say is our sales have finished.Nothing else! Blank face , no assistance nothing more… so we just walked off. Appalling for a store which claims itself on service

My husband Andrew and I went down the coast a couple of weekends ago to find my husband a suit for our daughters wedding in October this year. Both of us would like to express what an absolutely outstanding customer service experience we had from both Phillip and Christopher. These gentlemen personified exactly what customer service is and should be all about. We found the perfect suit for my husband and the best shopping experience we have had in a very long time. These gentleman are an absolute asset to David Jones and get 10/10 for personality plus!!

I have shopped at DJ’s half my lifetime. Unbeknownst to me, they changed their return policy (for the worse) during the pandemic. I tried to return something for a credit note outside of the new returns period and was not able to. The thing is, this item would be easy to sell in store, despite it being on sale AND the returns period is NOT displayed on the receipt. I would’ve returned this item much earlier had this info been displayed on the receipt (I’m very busy). I spent 1k in that one DJ’s transaction. Sometimes, following rigid rules isn’t good for business… On a positive note, some of the staff there lovely, if you can get their attention (DJ’s is notorious for understaffing).

Very disappointing today. Searching for a special outfit today and was in store for 20 mins. Passed 2 counters where team members seemed more comfortable talking about their weekends, and not communicating.I was not approached by any team members so I did just walk out.Thank you.
