Worst experience ever I got a house in Doncaster lived there for about 15 months the rent was paid before time but when we were leaving we have to go through literally hell we suffered huge loss the staff is very rude zero value for customer their communication skills are zero and the saddest part is they are taking your money and yelling on you and miss treating you I believe what we have gone through no should, the worst agent is (TINA) she handled our case. They are just rip offs if you want to save yourself a nightmare please stay away from them.

I can only echo what other people already wrote. One star is way too generous! I would give a negative star rating if I could.The most unprofessional estate agents you are ever likely to encounter.RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY!

Honeslty one star is way too much. We rented through Ascend for 2 years and were treated like garbage the entire time.During our tenancy it became evident that several things in our unit were broken or not functioning including; the stove top, oven, termite infested stairs kitchen tap and window locks. Every time we notified our agent and requested these things to be fixed they would fight us and refuse to fix them unless we threaten to go to VCAT. When they did send someone to do repairs, these people were obviously untrained handymen who we suspected were just friends of the agent. They spoke very little English, were often rude and did a terrible job (when our broken oven was replaced they left the broken one laying on our nature strip and installed" the new one so poorly it was left hanging out of the wall).The worst of all was our ducted heating. The unit was old and would constantly backfire to the point where it would shoot fireballs and shake the entire house (I wish this was an exaggeration

We rented with Ascend for almost 2 years and had no issues. Ryan was very helpful, any maintenance requests were resolved quickly.

Extremely unprofessional. Very aggressive over the phone, unresponsive when something has fallen apart in the house, yet bombards you with emails and calls when you are 2 days late with rent.There is a massive language barrier. And now we want to move, they are offering a 12 month lease after forcing us on a month to month for the past year. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND

I have been renting in Melbourne for 7 years. I have dealt with a range of property management firms including MiCM, Barry Plant, Williams Batters and others. I have rarely had any issues with property managers. No longer the case after my experience with Ascend Real Estate. These are some of the most unprofessional operatives you will find in Melbourne property management.To give some detail, my 3 years' of experience with Ascend Real Estate comprised of:-1. Relentless year-by-year insistence upon rent increases. These were accompanied by claims that evaluations" had been done for rent purposes of the property in circumstances where no-one from Ascend Real Estate had ever actually attended the property. No genuine justification was ever given. You could about pinpoint the date of the yearly bartering exercise on rent.2. Failures to ensure that leases were signed and copies provided.3. A total failure to address issues and meet duties under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997. These failures had nothing to do with the actual landlord. They were simply a failure on Ascend Real Estate's part to manage the property. We had a dryer (that came with the property) not fixed for 1.5 years.4. Terrible communication skills.
