Heyfield Wetlands Information Centre
My friends and I walked around the lake track. It was so peaceful. We could hear the birds and were delighted by a family of wrens bobbing around us as we were sitting quietly on a seat. Definitely will be returning.

Great advice. Friendly volunteer at the centre. Loads of information. Amazing location next to reclaimed wetlands, by the locals over twenty years. So glad we stopped.

I would of gone past this place had I not stopped in to see the information center. It was closed but the surrounding wetlands where a hidden treasure. Amazing variety of bird life and insects. Got some great photos and a place I'll come again.

Love it..walking is safe..lots of birds and wildlife scurrying around..very well kept and public friendly..lots of seats and shady spots for picnics..

I love this place it was built buy the local a few years back and has really taken off and looks very natural. It has a great information centre for local attractions,picnic areas, bbq pretty well all you need for a great day out with the family. Make sure to walk the trails especially the look out. Lots of birds have moved overall worth a stop if in town.

Lovely area to just watch the birds on the small lake, take a walk or just sit down, relax and contemplate while cooking on the bbq.

Such a magical place is The wetlands. The people who work the information desk are amazing, friendly, and extremely helpful.
