Sonas Early Learning & Care Karrinyup

Extremely disappointed with the communication of the centre manager and head of Sonas at this service after my daughter received a head injury in the baby room which required glue stitches. Communication of the incident and lack of resolution was unsatisfactory. Happy to explain further to anyone who wishes to contact me.

My 2 year old has been coming to Sonas Karrinyup for over a year and is always very happy to go to daycare for the day. We chose the centre as it aligned strongly with our values and education preferences, and it hasn’t disappointed. Our little one has dedicated lovely carers, learnt numerous life skills and good manners, made friends with the other children, from the regular photos appears to have great fun in a variety of activities, and even learns Mandarin and mindfulness. We’re provided regular updates on the learning outcomes, and personalised updates through the day via the app and at pickup. We couldn’t be happier to have Sonas as our chosen daycare.

My little girl was enrolled here 1.4 months ago at the age of 1 yr and left at 2 5 yrs , she has been cared for by a very dedicated team of educators and has learned very good manners along with very well behavior patterns during eating , sleeping and book readings periods . I would like to express my gratitude to the manager Kylie and her assistant May along with the rest of the Team who always had a ear for every child that needed to be comforted and needed a hug , thank you all and continue with your wonderful and excellent work in caring.

Great family feel to the centre. Staff are friendly, helpful and caring.

When I picked up my son after his first day at this centre the room leader was feeding two babies with the same spoon, after seeing this I voiced my concerns to the centre manager who said she would follow up on this issue but I never heard back from her. My son is a very healthy baby but after spending just one day at this centre he got gastro and a cold.After I told them I want to take him out of the day care after only 1 session as I wasn’t comfortable with what had occurred, the manager said I would be liable for two weeks of payments without the centrelink subsidy.

Our daughter has been going to Sonas twice a week for the past 18 months and absolutely loves it. The educators are so caring and put a huge amount of time and effort into the activities. The environment is amazing, it is very open, clean and peaceful with a huge outdoor nature play area. The mobile app is also great to get updates from throughout the day. We couldn't recommend this day care centre more highly.

Absolutely terrible service please do not send your child here. We had a spot booked in for our son months in advance of his needed start date. The Centre only a few weeks out from his start date withdrew the offer of the spot. It caused us enormous stress. Manager could care less about the stress it caused our family.

Would 100% recommend staff here are lovely especially Maddy. Communication is amazing

Maddie, Lhaki, Rheannon, Talia and the whole team at Sonas Karrinyup are beyond amazing. My daughter Winter has been going here from when she was 9months old, she is now 2years and 6 months and LOVES going to daycare. All educators genuinely care about the well being of the kids, the girls always update me at the end of the day on how Winter went and is progressing. The Xplor app is fab, the girls keep it updated and I love knowing their daily observations. Winter sleeps, eats and plays super well with the other kids, to me this is a great sign of a great daycare centre (no bad habits learned). Oh and before Winter goes to sleep at night we say “night night” individually to all the girls and her friends at day care (Imogen, Audrey and Keenan).
