Very prompt and great service on a Friday afternoon to have a hot water service replaced.

Telephone contact was responsive and arranged for a plumber to call me back, which he did. I explained the problem (broken water main) and the temporary repair that I’d done. The plumber outlined when they could come to repair and the potential costs for weekend (emergency) repair or regular week day work. I decided on an option and the plumber arrived at the agreed time and did the job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Essendon Plumbing.

My call out was essentially for advice about some matters related to a dishwasher, a pull-out mixer tap and installation of a washing machine. The people attending from Essendon Plumbing Services provided the advice I needed, and were both courteous and respectful to me as a client. They contacted when on their way and arrived at the time advised. I was very pleased with the call out, and will be asking them to re-visit when I need a couple of installations done in the near future.

I was connected to one of the emergency plumbers named David for a burst water pipe. After explaining the situation to him and that we were unable to turn off the water main due to the tap being jammed, he just laughed at me. He asked if we needed instructions on how to turn off a tap. Taken aback I explained that, even a male housemate that works as a tradie was also unable to, and he laughed again. I asked what we should do and he replied that he didn’t know, confused I asked if he could help us and he continued laughing at me, mocking me by saying he didn’t know if he could, at which point I hung up the phone.I am absolutely disgusted by my interaction with this person who attempted to humiliate me over the phone as a customer wanting to employ his services. I am also disgusted that he enjoyed mocking me (a woman) inferring I was unable to complete a simple task.I am astounded to have encountered such outright misogyny from what should be a professional business. Do not support these people.

I had previously had a bad experience with another plumbing company. Dealing with Essendon Plumbing Services was a breath of fresh air. The plumber Alex was actually early for the job, which was great. Alex lay out all of my options with the repair and was fantastic to deal with. I never felt like I was being taken for a ride in regards to the price.Can't recommend this service enough.

Thoroughly recommend using Essendon Plumbing! We had a Gas Leak under our house and even though they were fully booked managed to get a guy to come check it and discover we needed a full gas line run as the old had corroded. Richard managed to get a guy off another job and they ran the system on a Friday afternoon. Went way over and above to get our Gas fixed before the weekend! Will be using Essendon Plumbing for any future plumbing as well!

Michael was on time, professional, trustworthy and an easygoing plumber who was really helpful, doing a bunch of minor repairs/maintenance, but also happy to give advice wherever he could. Nice to have upfront and competitive labour pricing, and definitely not price gouging for parts/materials used. Recommend.
