Like the ageing chairs in the dining area, the Lord Dudley is slightly rickety. Fortunately they’re major renovations underway which will give the good lord a freshen up. Meanwhile it’s still fun to have a mid-week lunchtime pint of Fuller’s London Pride, a chicken and leek pie (somewhat light on the leek but plenty of chicken chunks swimming in a rich gravy) and a bowl of fries you’d struggle to climb over … so no complaints about portion sizes. Friendly bar staff attend to a mix of low key business types, families with toddlers, tradesmen and local couples.

Atmosphere and location very nice. Huge servings. We had several dishes between 5 people. English fare is not something we'd have very often, as it's quite heavy" food

Awesome local English style pub. Hang out with the locals on the street and grab a few schooners on a sunny afternoon or chill out inside on the couches. Food is decent too with plenty of room upstairs and down in the garden.

Good ambience, food came out quick and hot however disappointed with the Yorkshire puddings and both roasts absolutely covered in gravy.. way too much which spoilt the dish in my opinion and it mixed in with the apple sauce.. nice pub, but not an amazing roast like I was expecting

Tonight i was introduced to the lord Dudley through a group of regulars; some very good friends of mine. They love the place and spoke very highly of the place, they are locals who see this place as their local and come here 3 to 4 times a week for the last 3 years. Like “Cheers” I asked so the staff must know your names. They replied no they don’t So I thought I’d go find the manager and introduce them. I brought her to the table and gentle touched her shoulder to introduce her to some her very loyal patrons - I was told in no uncertain terms “Don’t touch me” Now we know why they don’t know their names. The host is hostile with no hospitality.

Great place. Gets really busy but people stand outside too which is nice on warmer evenings. Food was good too - ohh the Guinness beef pie!

Classic auld English-style pub with darts, pies and some good local brews in schooners or pints. Traditional atmosphere with the suitable old school 80s tunes.Pleasant inside and quite cosy, great members of staff, with dark lighting and restaurant style facilities as well for a sit down meal of a proper grub.Prices tend to be as expected for this part of town, so expect to pay a fair penny.

One of the best Sunday roasts in Sydney. Really homely pub on a Sunday night and perfect for hearty food like a roast. Old character and lots of beers on tap and great menu range. Food was incredible, one of the best schnitzels in Sydney, even the Caesar Salad was excellent, can't recommend enough and will be returning.
